So, I am seeing the consensus being that this is BS and no one can cite a valid source other than the mythical lawyer said it is a liability dodge?
thanks!
Out of curiosity I measured the circumference of the Falken AT spare on the driver rear and the BF Goodrich AT on the driver front (both at the same pressure per my digital gauge) and then calculated the revs per mile-
DR- 640.80
DF- 641.29

I could maybe agree with this on AWD...
So, I ruined a tire in Death Valley, (punched a rock through the center of a BF Goodrich KO2). The Tread measures about 9/32. I was given a pro-rated refund for the damaged tire but the salesman refused to sell me one tire. He claimed that due to this being a 4x4 that the store assumes liability...
On Thursday on my way to Colorado I inexplicably lost a wheel bearing on my trailer. After it cooled to the touch, and the smoke stopped billowing out of the wheel, I limped the 1 mile to a conviently located shop. There we found that the spindle, and therefore the axle, was ruined. The nearest...

I too am getting random Service 4WD warning light activations when in four wheel drive. They reset when I shut the rig off, and sometimes do not return for hours. A few weeks ago in Moab my dash was lit up like Christmas!
Steve at Desert Does It just sent me this in response to my query, “While we were prototyping on a JLU and JT, there was a plastic covered wire chase under the seat. Without the front Seat Jackers, the seat frame would compress that wire chase. The risk of pinching or cutting wires is what...
I just installed the 2” lower seat slammers and tried a few options. I eventually went with 2” down at the rear and I left the blocks out of the front (the seat jackers). The seat clears the floor and bolts up fine with the rear cut down and no front jackers, I am not sure why they recommend...
I was driving my 2020 JT at 80+ mph into a stiff headwind for over an hour and when I pulled off of the freeway I heard a grinding sound. I found that the passenger side front fender liner had flipped out and was over the front tire. A section of the inner fender had ground off and was dangling...
