I have almost 3k on mine. I have the MT tires. My steering doesn't really feel loose or wander the way others have described, but it doesn't inspire confidence at high speed. Say, 70+ mph.
I did notice on the way home from a wheeling trip this weekend that it felt better. I almost...
Oh - Side question... I am getting rid of the cig lighter 12v plug as well, but would actually like to retain that power source for a radio that I use on the trail. Is there a good quick disconnect that I could use to replace the cig lighter plug and receptacle? In other words, something...
Wow, this is a great consolidation of other folks info along with your own. Thank you!
I have my Redarc and 001 harness in a box in the garage waiting for install. (I also have the 12v removal tool and used the lacquer stick to fill the letters.) Our new travel trailer has been delayed...
I just got back from a trip to Moab in my Mojave. It is about 3.5 hours away, ran a trail and drove back. I noticed that my MPGs were in the 16 range after that trip. (I never look at MPG, I just drive and put gas in when it needs it) I have less than 3000 miles on my Jeep and am pulling...
One of my biggest concerns with wheeling the Gladiator has been the departure angle.
My Mojave came with a plastic rear bumper and no protection for the ends/sides of the bed. One of my first mods was to swap on a Rubicon take off and I felt like that was some relatively cheap insurance when...
The Rubi bumper is steel. The Mojave bumper is plastic. I swapped my Mojave bumper for a Rubi one to get the added protection of the steel along with the little under bed skid plate bits.
Yep. I paid $150ish for the Kikbax. That was about my threshold of pain for mirror cost. I agree, if they could make the CMM style for that price, I would have jumped on it. I know machine time for CNC isn't cheap but, they could surely cast or injection mold the pieces for much less. I...
Yep, give it a good firm yank. Mine was really stiff the first few times and I believe it also popped out. But firm pull all the way back. If not, take it to the dealer. While I agree you should be able to fix your own stuff, I also believe that the company that built it should be on the...
I like to change synthetic at 5k miles. That’s what I did in my JK and oil was still fairly clean and happy looking 75k miles later. Send it to black stone if you really wanna know.
Someone posted the 2021 spec sheet yesterday and the Diesel engine was listed in the Mojave section. Not sure if that means anything but interesting that they would list it there with all of the weights and capacities. Not available now, but who knows?
