I would go with 40s if I could afford Dana 60s. Just seeing the difference between the 44 and 60 hubs made me realize that 40s should not be on Dana 44s.
Yeah, I think they later combined the TPMS with another part (remote start and keyless entry, maybe), but the system was more complex back then. I think they combined systems because of the chip shortage.
He said the sensors that were in his old wheels would periodially work, and when put in his buddy's Jeep, worked fine there too. I doubt it's the sensors.

Thanks. Unfortunately, there's only a loop on the passenger side. I was thinking I would loosen the bolts then put a rolling floor jack under it to lift it up, then tighten the bolts with it lifted.

I hate how the stupid Jeep won't let you put the vehicle in reverse, pull the emergency brake, them get out and crawl underneath. I had to open the window, close the door, lean in through the open window, press the brake pedal with a stick, pull up the emergency brake, then put the thing in...

Everyone should watch and share this video. This guy makes great videos, and this topic really needs to be discussed. The point is not to talk bad about the repair shop. The point is to let people know that they should watch out for people trying to gouge them.
Great question. Every time I pull something apart, I break off some little plastic tabs that hold the metal clips. I need to find the part number for the plastic door on the passenger side that covers the door wiring harness.
