This solved it for me 100%. I on purpose did not move the transmission up. I used the spacer to lower the crossmember, and therefore the skids by that 1/4”. I didn’t want to change the driveline.
I hate how the stupid Jeep won't let you put the vehicle in reverse, pull the emergency brake, them get out and crawl underneath. I had to open the window, close the door, lean in through the open window, press the brake pedal with a stick, pull up the emergency brake, then put the thing in reverse. Then I was able to lie down under there and see where it was making contact. I could picture myself in a dumb ways to die video.

ZAutomotive sells that switch panel. Taking the center stack apart on a 24 or 25 is apparently a whole lot worse than the 23 and prior. I could have the center all apart in a couple of minutes on my 22 - I tried on my 25 and gave up. Very different, could not figure out how a 25 center stack comes apart.
The biggest kick in the ribs for doing that is all of the wiring, tying into existing connections, feeding into the CANbus in the cabin and so on. Is it worth it?
Hmmmmm - you end up spending over $100 for the switch panel from ZAutomotive (or even more from MOPAR themselves???) and start to add up the $$ again, plus the connectors to buy and so on.
Just grab any switch. Who cares if it’s factory. Hide it somewhere or use an aux switch. With aux there’s no wiring through the firewall.

If it’s in gear and I’m underneath, I insist on a second live person in the cab keeping me “not dead”.

That’s my thought. Add a switch, ignition, battery positive, ground, star connector, and Jscan to enable the feature.
Not out of the question - do I do that much work? Well, it would be NICE, for sure!
People say "but the electronics often fail"
So - if they do, then either fix it or go to the manual disconnect knob for $45 from Amazon.
But - being able to press a button, hit the off road + button, and drive on sounds appealing.

I need to find out - how the @#$% do you get the center stack apart on a 2025?????
The 22 was piece of cake - snap off the top row of knobs, take out a screw, pull the rest apart - done.
The 25? Can't figure it out.

Seriously thinking of the electric method, though.

I had full trust in that e-brake and my ability to jujitsu my way out from under that Jeep if it did move! 🤣

Set Scene:
Die the above way and end up before the pearly gates.

Dialogue:
Saint Peter -"So how did you die?"
Me explains the above
Saint Peter - "I'm going to let you live."
Cue flashing lights as I'm resurrected in the driveway.
Wife standing and doorway with arms crossed.
Me explaining how I died and met Saint Peter to the wife.
Saint Peter - "Back again so soon."
Me - "Yea, I explained what happened to my wife and well here I am, can I stay this time."

Ron
Note: The chances of me being killed by the wife is far lower than that of my own stupidity.

My only problem is that mine isn't too high. It's too low. I might have to clearance it remove that little loop that goes over the exhaust.

Jay for giggles can you move that bolt on brace to other side of the skid brace , that would give clearance perhaps and I know it sounds stupid but are both bolt on braces exactly the same if not play around swapping them , or even flipping front to back , be sure to do this after a few beers it will make more sense! The Skid I have had passenger and driver side braces.
This is about the best troubleshooting advice I give my men and others …step away , clear your mind relax, then come back and look at it with an open clear mind it works.
I love when I come on a job site and see my electricians standing around , I no longer ask , cause the answer is we were clearing our minds but forgot what you wanted us to do!
I do have very good electricians !

Thanks. Unfortunately, there's only a loop on the passenger side. I was thinking I would loosen the bolts then put a rolling floor jack under it to lift it up, then tighten the bolts with it lifted.

Today marks one year since I bought my Gladiator on September 30, 2024. I installed my Barnes 4wd skid plates then drive it to work.

Thanks for reminding me that it's been 6 years, 28th of September, 2019 for mine.
