I have it now where we wanted it to be then. Let me tell ya, it has been a journey. Wish I could of progressed faster. Definitely am in awe of these V8 powered beasts.
Well the settings for the paddle shifter are seperate from the regular shift schedule. I don't have jist a transmission tune so to speak. The changes for the paddleshift is easy to apply though. If you go shift your autostick that is the performance you will get with the paddle shift, with no...
So I was just able to download the transmission tune on my wife's 4xe no issues so my guess is I can do trans tunes only. No unlocking needed. Will still need 4 credits from HP Tuners to flash it and an MPVI2 interface.
You need to drive my truck. This is the first opportunity I have had to actually fully tune shift paddles. It has been a hoot and went way better than I would of imagined.
Yes it would.
Also I believe JScan will work to activate the paddles, but they will shift the same speed as your autostick, at the moment. I have adjusted pressures, clutch touch up and RPM points in my tune to utilize the paddles to their full extent.
I am just going to throw this out there. It borders on self promotion, but wth. With my tune the paddle shifters work as good as a manual shift or better, and are absolutely amazing pulling a trailer. The shifts are snappy and to the point and it will hold right up to the last rpm and then shift...
Sorry that happened. I really wish I could.of caught that earlier for you. It has been cool talking and working with you. Once you have that all available I can let people know you have a kit. I am sure someone would snap up the small pulley setup.
Well truth be told, I made all the changes and drove around, going wtf! This is all jacked up. Pulled in the garage opened a beer, reviewed all my changes, tuned the truck back on and it worked, lol!
Both the indication and the shifters. So on the third one I believe Iwent with the top option. Make sure to have the jeep fully turn off after setting these, I have found it will not all take correctly if you don't and you get weird functions
My favorite part besides the function, is the use of real wiring connectors and they don't age out even in the harsh Midwest winter conditions. My first pair still look minty fresh, and work that way too.
