I'm surprised you of all people would recommend this 2.5" lift. Looks like crap.
If you're recommending it because of its cheapness, then okay, but I would mention that.
No replacement front trackbar (much less an adjustable one).
No replacement rear trackbar (much less an adjustable...
I dunno. 4.10 / 3.73 = 1.0992 = 9.92% difference.
9.92% of 2,000 rpm = 198.4 rpm ≠150 rpm. As set up now, I'm in 8th gear 50%+ of the time when doing 65-70 mph on relatively flat highways. I think if you raised my rear gearing by 10%, that would drop down to nearly 0% in 8th gear at the...
It's almost a 10% difference (9.92%).
With my current set-up--35" tires and 4.10:1 gears, I'm doing 2,000 rpm at 70 mph in 8th gear. If I switched to 3.73 gears, I would be doing about 1,800 rpm at the same speed. I'm not saying that's completely unworkable, but I think I could/would notice...
My odometer and speedometer both are dead on as compared to highway mile-markers and my Waze navi-computer. This is true after going up to 35s and having the dealer recalibrate; and also was true before I did that. My trip computers usually read about 0.5 mpg higher than reality--compared to...
Yeah, but it's reciprocal. Tires throws mud on the side. But wait for the next rainstorm, and drive through it at 70 mph, and the tires throw clean water up there and wash it off. After our wheeling trip, I did just that, and it looked like I had had it detailed, it was so clean.
I had never measured it, but just did. It's three inches. But I think most 35s may rub if you tuck them in too much more. But I haven't tried it. Does anyone know the backspacing/offset of the factory Rubi rims? I could never find that anywhere.
The wheels are: American Racing AR172 Baja Satin Black Wheels (17x9”; 5x127mm; -12mm offset; 4.53” backspacing; 26.4 lbs). They’re fairly light compared to many models. They are pretty cheap too...
The title of this thread confirms that it is not at all about stopping, but rather is about "stoping," which "is the process of extracting the desired ore or other mineral from an underground mine, leaving behind an open space known as a stope. Stoping is used when the country rock is...
“It is recommended that the Stop/Start system be disabled during off-road use. … In the following situations, the engine will not stop: … 4WD system is put into 4L or Neutral.” 2020 Gladiator Manual (2d ed.) at pp. 216-17.
ESS doesn’t work when you are in park or when the foot is not on the brake, so that’s not the issue.
I wish more Gladi owners would read their manuals. It says that, when activating the Remote start, “the engine will start, and the vehicle will remain in the Remote Start mode for a 15 minute...
