  1. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

How did you get out? Winch? In the backseat, I carry hip waders that slip over my boots in case I do the same thing.
  2. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

Yeah, you can thank Bourbon County, Kentucky for exporting a product that helped inspire that I think.
  3. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

Bobzdar is just saying (accurately) that the Max Tow has certain "standard equipment," and the Rubicon has certain "standard equipment." The window sticker for example uses that precise phrase. The "standard equipment" on the Max Tow weighs less than the "standard equipment" on the Rubi, which...
  4. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

I don't have the loose steering. But, if I did, and if Jeep wouldn't fix it ASAP, I would pay someone extremely qualified to fix the steering box screw thingy. One shouldn't have to be in the situation to have to do that, but I think it would be important enough to fix on my own. Once Jeep...
  5. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

No problem. It would, indeed, have been funny if FCA actually wrote that, in the Mojave, "you can feel loose and relaxed with all of the expertly-engineered additional steering play as you play in the sand and wobble over even the most-extreme dunes."
  6. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

My post was entirely an attempt at humor, and I made up that language.
  7. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

No. I have 218 lbs of aftermarket bumper and winch on it. so, it went don by 218 lbs minus the weight of the stock bumper. I do assume that the massive 3"-higher quad-rate Rock Krawler springs added some back--possibly along with all of the other RK and synergy components I have added.
  8. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

Dang how did you get those three extra pounds over mine?
  9. JT owners post your MPG

I thought about that, but it seems like high-altitude JTs also are getting lower MPGs.
  10. JT owners post your MPG

So, you're really getting about 15.4 mpg. It seems like the people reporting in from warmer climates are getting better mileage than those from colder climates. Is that due to a different gas blend?
  11. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

Not sure that last bullet-point is a plus, but they are making lemonade out of lemons here.
  12. Truck redlined without me touching gas peddle.

Was the Selec - Speed Control (SSC) on in either of the circumstances described above?
  13. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

Y Yeah, I haven't ever heard of a JK, JT, or JL frame breaking without dong something beyond insane.
  14. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

It depends on your needs. The Mojave frame upgrade can’t be anything but a good thing. But I don’t really think I would ever get into jumping my JT through the air and landing hard. The suspension-strengthening stuff I already have on mine or more. from the aftermarket. And I would have that...
  15. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

I feel pretty sure. None of the articles that actually mention specific changes have suggested any lengthening of the wheel base, which would be extremely costly and unnecessary. They brought the tires out about a 1/3" to help accommodate the larger shocks. I did the same or more with $130...
  16. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

The Mojave is designed to be better on high-speed Baja-like trails. The Rubi is designed to be better on slower-speed crawling on rocks. The Rubi has a front locker and lower 4L T-case gearing, which is better on the rocks. Also, the front locker on the Rubi would be better for running...
