I'm contemplating doing this but the opposite direction. Thinking about selling my 2020 Rubicon and buying a 2021 Sarge Green Texas Trail. After two years of ownership, I have realized that the Rubicon has way more features than what I need off-road wise. For the areas I camp in and for weekend...
Well, as usual, Crystal Beach GTW turned into a complete ****show. Just way too many side-by-sides, jacked up trucks, and kids that don't know how to hold their liquor or have a good time without getting sloppy drunk or fighting.
Meanwhile...down at Surfside Beach, it was a fantastic event...
Just a quick update, me and my local Jeep club will be near Beach Access 1 at Surfside Beach. There will be a DJ booth, stage, dance competition and some vendors set up around this area too. Southfork CDJR is also giving away a set of wheels, tires and Mopar lift and some other vendors are...
Slight rub of tire on shock at full turn left when in reverse. Other than that, no rubbing anywhere else. Ride is good but not as good as stock. Wheels are way heavier and so are the E rated tires. Each tire and wheel is around 100 lbs. I keep them aired up to about 33 psi and that helps.
I currently have the Spiderwebshade installed and it's been so for about 2 years now. It's a good quality product and does a great job of cutting down on the sun and heat. That being said, if I ever replace it, I'm going to go with J-Tops. The Spiderwebshade flaps a lot in the center while...

Where are you going for Go Topless Weekend this year? I'm heading down to Surfside instead of Crystal Beach. After last year's ****show, I don't want to be anywhere near a bunch of kids in F-250s and side-by-sides. Supposedly, Surfside is going to be a little bit calmer due to not allowing ATVs...
2 years worth of fuel-ups tracked. 20,000 miles.
37's, 4.10 gears, automatic
Driving style is light; I don't hammer down on it often and I don't speed.
Only engine modifications is S&B cold air intake with hood scoops installed last month, however I haven't noticed any change in MPG due to this.
Guess you could say I like bourbon:
I do tastings on my back porch frequently with my local Jeep club members. I try to make it a different theme each time. This was our Texas whiskey/bourbon week.
Personally, I prefer the wheaters. Old Fitzgerald, Larceny, Weller. But two of my recent...
I know what you mean. When I installed my Mopar lift, I was literally hanging with all my body weight to get it to the 165 ft. lbs. it wanted in certain areas.
Also, you might want to look into getting a front adjustable track bar. My axle shifted about an inch after the Mopar lift install. Put...
It's mainly the sound. I can't confirm/deny any performance benefits since I don't have any hard data to back it up. I do keep track of my miles per gallon and have done so since I bought the truck 2 years ago and I have not noticed any drop or raise in MPG.
I recently installed the S&B cold air intake kit along with the Rubicon only hood scoops on my Gladiator. I made a quick video about it if you don't mind taking a few minutes to give it a view.
I've had mine off and on for about a year now and have had no air leaking in at all. You have to make sure the cords with clips are not installed on top of where the torx head bolts for the windshield go in to the header.
