I'm still debating where I want to mount mine. I've seen along the fire wall next to the front tire, under the hood and various spots inside the cab. I'm leaning toward under the hood. I do like how you have yours behind the rear seat, it put the compressor in the middle of the rig...
I just use a basic drill. I also leave the screws out of the doors so I can easily pull them off. So, the only thing I need to unscrew is the 8 bolts for he hardtop. Again, I just use a standard drill. Works great and super fast.
I took the carpets out today and cleaned the inside out completely. Did some trail riding this weekend and the inside got completely covered in dirt. While taking the carpets out I noticed that there are 8 drain plugs in the Gladiator. I did not know that.
I have been listening for the ghost sounds when in reverse all day today and I have not heard anything. I even have my doors and top off and I still don't hear it. For whatever it's worth.
That's incredible, jeeps are so intuitive that they can speak to jeeps long past when you put them in reverse. Incredible I tell you simply incredible! :LOL:
