I feel like rust is unavoidable. I use this spray followed by matte black engine spray on my undercarriage and it looks fantastic. Keeps it mostly rust free for years...
%100 operator error on my end ?‍♂️
I went and messed with it the other day and got it installed correctly.
Interesting note I haven’t felt the need to take it off of the medium setting yet. I pulled my mother’s 3000 pound camper back to her house today and felt just fine on the highway with it.
I had this on my 2020. There was a loose wire on the back side of the connector where the harness connected to the 4/7 pin connector hub.
I found it and had the dealer replace the whole harness under warranty.
I actually debated this a bit and landed with not getting them for two reasons.
1- I don’t know enough of how they work and behave on road since thats %99 of my driving
2- ive seen a couple posts talk about having to figure out how to make them fit. And i didnt want to do any wheel well...
I dont really off road any more and have no washboard riddled roads.
Part of my drive does however take me through a poorly maintained city with roads that may as well count as off roading! These shocks are fantastic. The truck its self moves with the bump, but the shocks absorb the majority...
glad to read you were able to get the install hammered out.
If you can, let us know what your thoughts are after a week or two of use. Im always looking at ways to tighten up steering and have been wondering about this. Im nearly out of my 100k warranty and would be willing to try it after...
Give them a call and ask. Im sure a service rep can tell you for sure if you are good to go or need to return your order and get the next size up.
Either way...stick with them. These things are friggan amazing. 18mpg winds today with gusts and I barely felt the wind hitting my drivers side flat...
I think thats a fair thought and not really something most would consider. I doubt that most dealerships are keeping up with inflation and increasing wages to be competitive. Inflation is hard to keep up with at the moment given its through the roof, but wages certainly arent keeping pace. In a...
in central DE dealers are running about 2-3 weeks behind on scheduling services other than oil changes and tire rotations. Seems like we are seeing the effect of the lazy labor force as well. (in my experience at least)

I suppose I should do a string level and figure out the slope. That will probably help me figure out how much ill need to lift the front or rear to level. It won’t be exact since I’m sure the degree of slope isn’t constant from the garage to the end of the driveway. But it will I give me a ballpark.
I don’t have a gauge to measure the slope of the driveway, but it’s definitely not drastic by any means. I really think putting the rear up on jackstands with four-wheel-drive engaged so my front wheels don’t move should be able to bring me level.
And that’s a phenomenal idea with a magnetic...
Yeah, this is definitely an experiment and I’m hoping the small volume that came out wasn’t a big deal. I can’t see that it would be given a swap is 5 to 7 quarts and that’s not even the total fluid volume in there. And the small volume that came out was maybe 6oz of fluid. ?‍♂️ guess well see...
I did a lap around my development and let the transmission get to about 85° before pulling into the driveway to do the sample. I wanted to at least get it to the bottom temperature range. It’s supposed to be in when I fill it. I have no logic behind the thought process… Just seemed like the...
There are just a mess of threads with little bits and pieces of phenomenal information spread throughout the forum. I’ve even started two or three with questions that have been answered as I started down this path. I figured I would just start one thread about the process I went through to maybe...
