I put one on a V6 Camaro I bought in 2015. It was crazy how much oil gets put back into the intake valves on these Direct Injection motors. If in fact the motor damage that the catch can sellers claim occurs is true. I'm surprised there hasn't been some class action litigation due to it. Because...
Actually yes I do, and didn't even know it. Shows you how much I have paid attention to the backseat. Wish they would have gave me the bed one instead. Lol. I guess it's the 12V replacement option for the Brake controller.
All I have ever used is a 12V adapter for my 7" Samsung tablet. Not sure if a USB would do it but I doubt enough juice comes from the USB to keep that screen always on with GPS running and maintain battery. I will try it though and see.
Should have been standard equipment on Max Tow from day 1. And having to sacrifice your 12V outlet to have it.....Total fail from Jeep, start to finish.
Rubicon has a 77-1 Crawl ratio. Mojave has a 52-1 crawl ratio. Huge difference off road. Also remember that at 11,000 feet, your 285HP 3.6 motor is down to about 160HP.
No I have the 8Auto. Definitely like the gearing though. My 373 gears did not like the 35" tires at all. Now better than stock with 35's. If your on Flat land and do easy to moderate offroad, then leaving it stock with 35's would be fine. If slightly hilly to mountainous where you live and...
I bought the Teraflex adjustable for mine, but would not do it again. My dealer installed mine and showed me that it only moved it 1/4". There is a reason Mopar did not include one in kit. It's not needed.
I negotiate by keeping negotiations to a minimum. Every dealer will have times that they are willing to really discount big. That will be usually at end of month, quarter, or year to get rid of inventory, reach next hold back bonus, or hopefully both. When I go in I know exactly what I want to...
Would you get rid of the JT for the 392 JLU? I think the 392 is coming, and the 3.6 Penstar is leaving. Jeep will offer the 392, 3.0 Diesel, and 2.0 Turbo. I just think it makes sense. The 392 properly geared will not get that much less fuel mileage, if any at all. The 2.0 will sell to most...
I'm running 285/75/18's (35/11.5/18) 66 pounds per tire. Put in 488 gears. I'm getting 17MPG everyday driving which for me is about 75% Interstate @ 75MPH. Stock Overland I got 20.5mpg same driving. I'm in 8th gear nearly all the time in Western side of West Virginia. Small hills around here.
