Motive gears all the way…. Their shafts are good too- great warranty if things happen- fad delete ???
artech for the truss.
As far as ratios I have always thought the pinion head looks a bit too small after 5.13’s…. But the added tq is probably nice with the 5.38’s. Easy on the skinny pedal...
Reliable and durable? Sure man ??? but let’s be real, we aren’t doing a swap like this to save gas and rubber….. so the sooner you can get some proper axles under it the better. Best to leave 1310 u-joints in the drive shafts for quick, easy and cheap replaceable insurance…. (Every build needs...
Dude jeep does not make any manufacturing sense anymore….. fender combos, grill combos, axles, so many different combinations…… they have made the JL/Jt platform a spaghetti factory.
Esh man- rotopax is a no-go huh… ?
Personally don’t like the idea of tapping the main tank for the freak chance that something comes loose or breaks off and being sol….
Personally- I’d stick a original bolt through measure, take the new bolt-stick it through measure, figure out the difference in length and order some grade 8’s that have the correct pitch and length…. Call it good.
Kimball Midwest online has a good inventory.
The gearing- if you live in flats, are ok with loosing acceleration, don’t tow, and don’t have higher highway speeds…. You can get by without re-gearing. You would be happier matching the gears to the tires- say 4.88’s but you can get by.
The bigger “issue” is the wheel and tire width. A 7.5”...

Do you have part numbers or a link to ebc stuff for the diesel?
I have ran GD and BSD series rotors on most of my vehicles and hd green stuff, yellow, and red- loved all of them with gd and yellow stuff being my favorite daily combo.
have not...
as jefe stated. Dust attracts/clings to the oil. Dry filter efficiency and flow was close enough.
The hood scoops should allow for significantly lower air intake temps too, since they will be functional vs esthetics (quite frankly I’m not a fan of the look at all…. But function > form.)
I...
Pretty sure it just became open to order today. Will let you know between September 9th-11th when it gets to the house how it does- ordered with the dry filter and hood scoop. ???. If anyone else beats me! Chime in, as I have been watching the “tooling will ship this month”,….. for MONTHS!!
Have you had any issues with this connection point?
I just ordered some rigid flush mounts and plan to do the same. May install an inline flush push button Switch as a means to kill the auxiliary lights as needed…but thiswas my “go to” for tapping into the reverse lights.
Modern diesels are an entirely new ball game though…. Mechanical pumps produced peanuts for injector pressures (just one example…) ~25,000 psi for high pressure fuel pumps…..
But, this is also why small diesels make 400+ ft lbs of tq now. (One of the factors…. Transmissions are kind of a game...
Both of ours did the same. 69,8xx for the 2022 rubi, and $72,xxx for the 23 far out rubi. The 23 has adaptive cruise…. When we ordered the 22, would have been a 6+ month wait on parts (so we were told….). So there’s part of the $1k difference the other is just inflation. ??‍♂️
I bet you are right, but what I was showing is look at the lens/light…. They are totally different just from the “light” if you posted a photo of an OEM metal bumper fog… I posted a photo of a plastic number fog.
