Where is the cost?
I found the youth course that they have had for $35, not seeing the new 2023 adult online course listed on the link above or the recreation website. ?
Lol I mean I’m glad they are going this route vs closing areas down….
Is the course a joke? Yes- I for sure think it’s a joke. Do I think others could benefit…. Yes- though I doubt that it will change the poor choices that are likely the problem.
???. Thanks for the heads up though! I’m sure...
First hand- the process is easy. The dealer transferred all parts across to the new Jeep. The tricky bit has been a road master brake controller…. Dealer subbed this out to camping world, and they performed a terrible job… dealer came out and paid $2k for the install.
I will say that all of...
I do agree with several posts in here about judging… but at the same time there are many aspects of life that just don’t make any sense anymore… from purely a math standpoint…. It’s like real estate. Median incomes are “y” for an area, median sale prices are “y*10” plus the assumed value of...
This was a fun spool of information.
I read through all 19 pages, however didn’t read anything conclusive.
Seems as if the remedy is to replace both batteries? Or to run with a tender??
For hooking up a tender or charging while batteries are still in the jeep- has anyone snapped a few photos…...
Similar boat… we had big plans for the gladiator…. Pretty sure we are settling with 37’s, bobbing the bed and skid plate…
LJ with a 2.8 Cummins is our way forward. Considered another JKU…. Nah….
Dude…. We got into DP4 side by side racing last year…. Anyone who thinks Jeeps are expensive…. Don’t ever dare racing SXS…. ? even this topic of swapping tons is a joke in comparison.
This was on a manual JKU.. gearing was at 4.88’s and then 5.13’s she was a heavy girl and ran with a tent on top 90% of the time… beadlocks dropped fuel economy from 12 down to 10ish…
smiles per gallon. The only crappy part was range. The tian tank added an additional 15 gallons. This made...
You aren’t lying… the jk was so bad that I dreaded going lower than a 1/4 off road. Downhill it would starve the fuel pump insanely easy with the nose down.
Titan fuel tank helped…. Still only got around 180-200 miles to a tank (running bone dry)
I would be curious to see what jtrd front springs on a non rubicon sport would do. Especially for the added weight of a steel bumper, winch, and skids.
Not Washington state- maybe the people’s republic of Pierce and King County??
Rest of the state has been deleted and emissions test free for the last 30 years I have been here ??
look at the load per tire rating….. the factory falcons on my Jeep diesel have a 150lb higher rating than my 2006 one ton….
when we jump the tire size on the gladiator we will be looking at load range c…. D at the highest.
no point in a sharp harsh ride on such a low weight rated vehicle. (My...
Similar situation…. Super into downhill growing up and cross country for fun… back in 2005~ race bikes were $5k and I’m talking flagship…. Now it’s like entry-midline is 5k race bikes are 10-12k!?!?!
find it interesting that you are in an area that doesn’t allow horses… I’m not a fan of riding...
The fuel tank size is really awkward. Mine is equipped with an 18 gallon but it’s definitely taken 19.5 gallons before…
when they say “18” is it really 18 with a reserve?
To add to the strange it took 19.5 and still had a positive number for range before empty…. ?
(Diesel tank- supposedly...
Man…. If anyone ever pulled the tubes on any of my tdi’s, the 2.8 crd, or the 5.9…. There is always oil in the pipes….
The only one that’s frustrating is the tdi’s… every other year I pull the intercoolers and clean them out (usually a ton of oil crap water stuff in there…)
hey- on the bright...
You will find that most Jeeps run a 17” wheel for the advantage of sidewall… the taller the sidewall the more it will absorb and conform when off-roading.
if you don’t plan on off-roading. ??‍♂️ do whatever you like…
unfortunately jeep puts a narrow 7.5” wide wheel on from the factory…. So...
Personally, if I were in your shoes- stick with what you got. Definitely look at going Dana 60’s… having built hd44’s or “ultimate 44’s” in the past- still only good for 37” tires- and even then stuff still breaks…. 60’s and you are set to 40/42” tires….
the convenience of elockers are nice...
i see ZERO threads in regards to that 6x6?? Or 5x6? (Angle of the photo….)
I doubt parts will be in the dealer hands anytime soon…. Shooting for mid 2023….
has anyone gotten a confirmation of the pump that they will be installing?? Is it another CP4?? If it is that sucks-in one hand I might...
??? too funny.
You know the only thing I’m really stuck on is how old is this other container… I’m sure I’m not over the “10 year” window- and really I’m sure that the mileage and age rating is for when it’s in use- and Not sitting on the shelf… ??‍♂️
