If… or better yet, when we get rid of the decked system. I think we will be integrating some metal plates to the cab side of the bed to attach Milwaukee Packout boxes. Organization is important to us as well.
Ours pretty consistently kicks off at around 15 gallons….. and as you stated we can a usually get around 3 additional gallons in. We fill to the top of the neck. Average fill is 18 gallons once the light comes on. Most we have done is 18.5~
For the space that it takes up- it’s a waste. The drawers are handy don’t get me wrong- it holds all of my daily tools. Impact gun, sockets, first aid kit…. Everything is nice and squared away… but when it comes to the rest of the function- the fridge doesn’t fit on a slider (snomaster) is the...
I have the decked system…. It’s niche for sure….. would I buy it again?? Absolutely not.
Before our canopy and decked system we had the gator soft folding cover from Amazon. $150 you can’t beat it. Kept everything in the back dry which is why we had it.
Your concern is valid- the pump is still not good… ??? edt will help. Eventually a cp3 retrofit will be available… read up on the cp4, it’s issues are by design.

the control arm brackets on the side of the frame will be phenomenal.

Really interested to see how you are going to go about strengthening the cross member and frame Chanel’s.- not questioning or doubting just curious. In previous builds I have always wanted to maintain some sort of “weak link”- usually what’s going to cost me the least time and $$ when it does...
Looks great!
It would be awesome if you could document with photos through the process- may help encourage others.
curious- did you cut the end plates off the frame and re weld them back on or did you make your own? What’s the frame process look like for re-assembly.
Doesn’t bother me any…. It’s still a Jeep! That’s why I asked! :)
I haven’t seen these for sale in years!! They are hard to find second hand too. Look great- and super function.
Thanks.
Hopefully I didn’t miss the answer to this further down- when you had the tires balanced did you have them do it with a road force balance machine?
I’ll have to google….. but Moog high angle ends is what I have used in the past- they are usually regularly available at autozone etc. big badass...
Have you looked into the USB-C options out there.
the original reply of AC>DC has to do with efficiency loss…. Converting dc to ac and then back to DC is kinda ? but you are right….you do you.
they make high watt USB-C plugins that I think would streamline what you are doing- but that’s just...
just installed the same controller in my in-laws wrangler. He wanted to retain the 12v and asked for it to be installed here- (photo).
install was super easy and very clean integration.
