Conceal carry right? I’m not trying to be a D***.. I’m just saying. I have a lot of friends that “carry” and it’s always something big, usually double stack, etc… I love to mess with them- where’s your gun…. Ah man… it’s in the truck… it’s big…. My waist band blah blah….
Find a gun that you...
I think I’m in the same boat you are…. Canopy, decked…. Running probably 400#’s in the rear all day every day….
I’m not going to chase my tail anymore. Waiting on a response from AEV for their spring lengths compressed and unsprung but I’m pretty set on their HD load springs.
(to add they...
Hey thanks! Their page looks totally different now, and I see they have changed to GL6. ?
Edit! Man I was totally backwards!! GL5 will void their warranty!

This should be a fun one.
It can be ligit… this is why KOH and desert race trucks run circulation pumps and differential coolers. High cut gears run hotter… Curries Notes on fluid and warranty
I have run 5.13’s and traveled from the Mojave area of California to tri cities Washington on several...
Man- agree with you on 5.38’s unless 40’s. I’ll be going 5.13’s
Nate @ dirtlifestyle (YouTube channel) also went 5.13’s with his “39’s”- bfg ko2’s which are basically in the ballpark of those on true 37’s/38’s.
Crawl ratio is crawl ratio…. Fuel economy isnt going to change as much as it’s...
5.13’s is the rout we are going! Woo!
Any concerns with pinion head for 5.38’s??
I understand the axle improvements between Jk and JL/JT are decent… seen several 5.38 pinion heads sheer and rip teeth apart… what I haven’t see. Is a JL/JT pinion next to a JK pinion (44’s)…. So maybe im assuming...

I don’t often poke my head over on AEV’s site…. Found these today.
This would be a solid setup…. Half the cost of 8100 remote bypass shocks and probably really good out of the box valving…..for sure matched to their...
If anyone is board and wouldn’t mind taking a couple measurements for me.
Need ground to Bottom of frame rail front and back (I measured as close to control arm brackets as possible)
And center of the tire ground to bottom of fender flare.
my frame rails measure:
13” front
12.75 rear
Front...
Yup diesel is 5w40…. I’m not seeing 5w20 on the box… nor on their site- as far as I’m aware pennzoil doesn’t offer a Euro 5w20 at all- just 5w30 euro L and LX??
Edit… I see, you are referring to the eBay link listed above. That would be a good option for someone with a bunch of gas motors...
Tdi’s are 5qts a piece- 6 changes annual-30qts
CRD is 7qts- 2 changes -14qts
Ecodiesel is 9qts - 2 changes 18qts
62qts 15.5 gallons a year…. Don’t really want to maneuver around a 55 gallon drum for 3 years. A 6 gallon box would be convenient.
local map doesn’t stock pennzoil- they are calling...
I stopped by Autozone and O’reillys and they can’t order it by the 6 gallon….
Dealers have it in 55 gallon drums.
I’ll stop by Napa and see if they can get it.
Probably seems odd to most but, we have two Jeep diesels and two tdi’s all using this oil this would be too convenient!
Added to...
Searching around on the pennzoil site and saw this: 6 gallon eco container.
The buy online button isn’t working for me- might be the time, my phone…. Whatever.
Anyone seen this or know where to get it at...
Bilstien 8100’s- if you are looking into the fox elites then I definitely think the remote bypass 8100’s are an improvement and are in the same league…
Starting to wonder if the dealers just Suck at the basics….. or if there are leaks….
I just cleaned all this crap off today and figure I’ll poke my head under in another thousand and see if it’s back. - can’t trust anyone anymore…. ??
The Jeeps are for fun. I drove 160 miles a day in our tdi sportwagen. She gets around 45-47 if I can keep my foot out of it…. 400tq is a lot of fun in a little car.
Thanks for this- installed my own heater today… have used it on 3 other Jeeps in the family too.
found mind to be a slight PIta… the aluminum heat shield above the plug had to be bent out of the way to get the socket to fit… no big deal- except it’s a pain to get Up there and bend…. Lol
