I replaced my stock battery with an Odyssey and also replaced the aux battery with an Odyssey as well. Haven't had any issues. Always reads 14.5v when running, 12.8v when just accessory power on.
You could always just bandaid it with a beefier steering stabilizer and maybe mask the shimmy some til you make a decision on what you want to do suspension-wise.
I have a 37x12.5 Toyo Open Road R/T spare underneath and the Yeti Steer Smarts adjustable rear trackbar. It's straight, with no bend and it clears my spare no issues.

When I changed out both my batteries for Optima's, it took about 2 weeks before my ESS started working again. I didn't sweat it too much at the time, since I can take or leave the ESS, and voltages were all good again after, with no "Aux Switch Disabled" messages.
