Hello, Looking to replace my KC 7" round Apollos (incandescent) with a simple single function LED setup. I like the round classic look of the KC's but almost every light out there is now some type of dual function fixture or more that includes a DRL or a turn signal or some other hokey type of accessory light that will look great heading to the mall. Even the current KC LED slim lights (which I like the look of) now includes a DRL and a dim mode feature (older version did not). All I want is a simple single function light that is 6" - 8" round and made to a good quality standard for true off road use. Anyone have luck in this area or am I the only one who just wants a simple single function LED light that does that one job very well.

Only thing I am seeing quickly for a classic looking offroad LED light is:

If you are willing to consider HID lighting, the options open up more. They aren't as long lasting as LED's, but performance wise they are the same or better. Companies like Hella and others make good hi-po HID lights that are very 'classic' looking.

YES to this one. The Gravity Pro 6 is still single function. Simple two wire install and will probably be plug and play adapter available (if its not already)
You can also order the LED assembly by itself if you want. Saves some money

Something... something... software.
I'm running these as cowl / pod lights right now and plan on getting a couple more to mount on a rear bumper as backup lights when I get it. They're cheap and they're definitely not made in America, but at that price I can buy them 3 times over for the price of some other high end brands. I may upgrade down the road, but these work pretty well for now:

If you’re looking for a true single-function round pod without all the extra “mall crawler” features, we actually just released our Vega 7 Series. They come in at about 6.5", and the LED+LED version is exactly what you’re describing: simple, clean output with no required DRL or secondary functions.

There is an optional DRL lead on the harness, but you can completely ignore it if you don’t want it. Just power + ground and you’re good to go.

Here’s the link if you want to check specs/output:
