I had one like this on a previous JKU… I went cheap… the chrome stuff rusted pretty quick but the winch worked. Only ever used it one time to pull the line in.
I agree with @Aonarch, if your not needing to use it much not bad but if for serious off roaring I’d spend a little more
Did you grease the sector shaft brace? If you did… take a min drop off the aluminum part and see if it still does it.
I know mine is an original version and I get noises once in a while from the aluminum brace since I can’t grease it anymore.
I worked for 4wp recently for almost a year. I tried my best from learning 2 different computer systems and a lack of getting products in. The store I worked in strived to take care of all customers (in store or online)as best we could. I’m no longer there… as you can tell. I’ll still buy from...
Ouch man… sorry to hear and see that. I’m not sure how I would repair it. But if you find a do it yourself option I’ll recommend the aev touch paint.

My parents helped me buy my 1st vehicle. A old beater for $1000. I drove it for 4 years while going to school and working my azz off to pay them back and insurance. My next vehicle I bought myself.
I’m planning on doing the same for my kid… get him a beater, he’s gonna pay me back and pay for...
Alright time to flame me all but there is a difference IMO
Every shop out there absolutely hates the “death wobble” phrase because it gets used in the wrong way.
bump steer… you hit a bump, curb, crack in the road, pot hole etc etc and your steering wheel shakes but it settles down and you can...
I decided one day to take my rear oem swaybar off and disconnect the front on my JTR. Then went around a roundabout… nope swayed so bad I put the oem back on.
I bought a rockjock rear antirock recently and will be putting it on this weekend… as long as I get my friend to help… to get the lower...
Here’s your issues… yes covid slowed them down. Then earlier this year they moved into their new shop that is absolutely huge! But they only planned to be closed 2 weeks… the move lasted over a month! They still haven’t recovered due to orders piling in.
I’m sorry you didn’t get what parts you...
Sound like you have “bump steer” than “death wobble” IMO.
IMO the fox 2.0 shocks are better than stock but they aren’t that great. Personally, king shocks with resi’s and adjusters or going to fox 2.5’s or their 3.0’s with separate adjustable low speed and high speed compression would help...
I had a different situation… I had a built up JkU, sold it for a Ram 1500 because I needed a truck for work (hated it) trade that in for the gladiator and now built up.
That said I had my sister come out and bring my niece and nephew… I don’t think you can fit three sir… bad enough for two...

On my previous 2 JKU’s with the hood vents, I cut them out with a dremel tool and put them back in. As far as I could tell it didn’t do anything but release heat out with more fog during cold conditions. Personally I never saw anything different of engine cooling via temps on gauges.
Now on the...
I’m sure if Americans most wanted can get one in and they made the wrangler 392… Jeep “should” make a v8 gladiator.
