Just installed a 2.5” Clayton lift and Synergy Sector Shaft Brace and now while I’m sitting still and barely moving the steering wheel from side to side I’m getting a clunking/thudding noise coming from where the steering shaft connects to the box. Is this normal and I’ve just not noticed it before and now I’m being paranoid since installing new parts?

Did you grease the sector shaft brace? If you did… take a min drop off the aluminum part and see if it still does it.
I know mine is an original version and I get noises once in a while from the aluminum brace since I can’t grease it anymore.

I did grease it and probably haven’t drove 60 miles tops with it since installing. The noise is definitely coming from the circled area so unless there’s some friction between that plate causing the shaft to bind I wouldn’t think that would be the issue but it’s worth a try. I appreciate it.
