Thanks for all the replies everyone, however, I'm not looking for opinions on other setups. Going back to the original question - has anyone gone from a Synergy brace to the Metalcloak? I'd love to hear actual experiences with the MC setup...

Ive read the instructions for the SS Yeti, what was your issue? I do like it the best but what was it that wound up kicking you in the ass?
I trimmed away what appeared to be enough of the extra piece that's specific to the Mojave and still couldn't get it to line up with my bolt pattern. After grinding away some of the brace itself and getting it in place, the bolt holes still wouldn't line up. I laid the yeti brace on a piece of paper and traced the footprint and bolt pattern. I couldn't even get the paper to line up with the pattern on the Jeep.
Of course that was after I had ground on it, so I tossed it.
Best I ever got was two bolts in.
I did keep their beefier nut on the sector shaft.
Ultimately my issues were resolved with tightening the slop in the steering gearbox, reduced tire pressures, and geometry correction brackets.

Cool thanks, I really like the beefiness of it but don't want to destroy the thing getting it on...

If I were to do one it'd be the @Metalcloak .
One of the reviews on the Steer Smarts page baffles me. I don't know how his Mojave is different from mine, but there's just no way.

"I purchased the sector shaft bracket for my 21 JT Mojave. It was an easy installed, bolted right on with no drilling, cutting or trimming. Followed the instructions and torque specs. Made a world of difference, virtually eliminating the dead steer and deflection in the steering. Well worth the investment. I would Highly Recommend this product."

This is my entire point..I might need to call SS and have a talk, certainly not paying that kind of money for a paperweight

Not sure what you’re seeing exactly. The paint around the bolt is chipping away and the arm just has a little nick from a rock or something that took some paint off. But no crack I can see :)
