This was when they deployed the satellites….
None of us on the porch had a clue what this was, what starling was…. Etc. and we literally lived on the edge of Death Valley where weird stuff fly’s all the time….
?
We also ordered our Jeep and had a couple issues…. Color being one. But, pretty hard to be mad when I looked at the PRINTED and signed order form- turns out I screwed up….(reality was the computer kept locking up and we went through the order screen a half dozen times….. by the time the printer...
I don’t participate in any of the Jeep badges…. ?
But I fully support your comments.
I have collectively 150k miles using spacers. On road, off road, on the rocks- 37” tires.
Most of my wheeling is on rocks. Have had a lot of parts break.- axles, axle tubes, lots of steering...
RCV is a “large” and “go-to” company for axle shafts- at least amongst jeeps…..
Greaseable ball joints are another “pretty typical” upgrade once the factory units fail….
Something else seems a miss here…..
I am not finding ANY issues with JL’s or JT’s by searching the inter webs for RCV’s...
?? am I missing something? This is on a 2018- previous generation ecodiesel.
@californiajeeping ???? I see it now! Thanks :)
Also! Totally agree! Great place to plumb the oil cooler!
It’s a good idea. Just curious, what does this offer that rhino/linex does not? Aside from removability. From a cost stand point we paid $500 to have the tub of our JKU sprayed- I would expect to pay no more for the JT cab.
(Just curious what I’m missing)
My understanding is the amarok never hit the states due to the import tax we have on “trucks” produced and brought in outside of the North American trade agreement…. The amarok is/was made in Austria with the t-reg ?
We have a couple, and have owned more VW diesels than I should admit too…...
I really like the amarok especially when it had the 3.0tdi.
Really wish it would have came to America.
Not a fan of electric ??‍♂️ Good luck ? I’m sure it will be popular in metropolitan areas.
- side joke. There are three Tesla’s running around my town with “no hydro power- snake river...
I skimmed 7 pages and did not throughly read….. sorry if this is a duplicate.
So- off road pages has to verify the vehicle vin through Uconnect in order to display all gauges????
I recently left the Death Valley area…. But this is one of my favorite places in America to explore- there is...
Hopefully this doesn’t throw things off too bad….
I really dislike Jeep carpet. But I’m not ready to make the Jt a trail rig and have the inside sprayed with bed liner yet…..
Anyways…. Air compressor with air nozzle works great on the carpets along side a vacuum. Interior cracks - air...
Anyone confirm if the gas and diesel shock lengths are the same? - I’m sure bump stop material is different, curious if these are the same length/height across too.
Photo one definitely does mess with my eyes….. level on the bed rails?
It looks great with the tires! But the stock tires…. ? looks like it’s squatting for sure!
Would really like this to be the start of a show off and information thread.
Post a photo of your Jeep flexed, and drop some details. Lift size and shocks, tire size.
We have always built our jeeps by maxing out flex vs an off the shelf. Finding information like 28” max length front shocks...
This!
We have only put 5 gallons in…. So 2 full ups, and the funnel that comes with it works great. Screwing it on takes a couple times- cross threading…

I found this article to be decent. Unfortunately we still have the urea...
Something you may want to put on your radar. I’m pretty sure all GL6 rated gear oil is natural and not synthetic. Additional note- Currie enterprise will not warranty their gear sets if synthetic gear oil is used.
I picked this information up a few years ago in one of their booths. Their...
