For anyone following along, I ended up replacing the main battery on my own and after driving for about 5 miles the Start Stop system started working again.
I've noticed that my JT rolls when I'm parking on an incline, such as my driveway, even when the the parking brake is engaged. The handle clicks a few times and gets tight like it should so I think the adjustment might be on the brake side. Has anyone else had this issue and resolved it? If...
Do you have a kit or a parts list for adding blind spot detection to a JTRD? Do I need anything else other than the sensors, mirrors and programming (Tazer)?
Mine does it at low speeds and occasionally at highway speeds. As for gaps in the panels, they all appear to be even and nothing jumps out to me as the problem.
That is a valid point and could help someone searching for an answer to this problem. However, this is my second Jeep with a hard top so I'm familiar with the removal / installation process and can confirm that isn't the problem.
I wasn't able to loosen the hard top bolts due to having a child seat in the backseat that I didn't feel like removing. However, I did pull both freedom panels to clean all the seals and checked the windshield fold-down bolts. The bolt in the top left corner of the drivers side wasn't tight so...
I can’t seem to locate the whistling sound coming from the freedom panel / A puller area on the drivers side. So far i’ve inspected and cleaned the seals around the doors and the top of the windshield. I have also tried re-installing the panel.
Is there a way to adjust the freedom panel so...
Since you don't want to lose capability by going to a shorter tire you could get a step slider and call it a day. AMP or Rock Slide Engineering might work for you. Or maybe the Mopar enhanced rock rails.
I recalibrated mine for the 35s because I wanted the speedometer to be accurate. I believe it also changes the shift points for the transmission but I didn't notice anything pre or post calibration.
I went with the Tazer but it was worth it for me because I use it for the other features as well.
I have a 21 JTRD and with the Mopar lift, heavy 35s on heavy 18s (12 ply / load range f tires and Black Rino wheels) and a Tazer for tire size calibration. On a recent trip from Austin to Ft. Worth (360 miles round trip), the trip screen was showing 21.9MPG when we got home. That was driving...
I bought a 21 JTRD used with 18.5k miles and am the 3rd owner. Where can I find information regarding warranty and what would be transferrable if anything? The Carfax report shows I still have 23 months and 17k miles left for basic warranty. Also, what about recalls? Is FCA still required to...
