Thanks for the reply.
Haven't talked to Benny, so I'll go ahead and reach out to him. Do you have anything like this that I can use to save my bed cover Benny? @AllMoparParts.com
As for the cover, I definitely noticed that the cover is flapping in the wind much more harshly on that side now...
Seems that way, although looking further into those build sheets, I realized that those orders were for overlands (really had to tell them apart from sports without the silver grill), so that may not be the case. Maybe you could reach out to the dealer just to get some confirmation, and if all...
Ah, my bad, didn't catch that part. From looking at some peoples order posts, when they optioned it on their build sheet, it came with the paint matched trim pieces.
Both the Sport and the Sport S come with the single piece grill.
Willys models come with a single piece gloss black grill
Overlands (and a few other region specific models) come with a three piece grill with silver trim
Rubicon and Mojave come with the three piece grill with graphite trim...
Thanks for letting me know, saw that I was getting some funky wear so I knew something wasn't right, I had new tires coming in the mail anyways, got them mounted yesterday so I'm actually getting an alignment done today so hopefully that solves my issue.
I have some different fenders also...
New shoes, now I need to trim/buy new fenders so that they fit properly. 35 -> 37, and they look stout!
Also I still love that the bed can carry all my old parts. Still need to mount the 5th tire once my matching spare arrives.
So looks like one of the retaining/fastening loops on my soft rolling cover just let go:
Anyone know where I can get a replacement, or has anyone here made an alternative? I'm honestly not sure if it provides any type of support for the rest of the cover, just seems like a retaining strap.
DV8 Has a ultra slim high clearance bumper, looks like it sits nearly flush with the taillights. Not sure if the camera becomes the newest first contact point though. Also not sure about their quality...
It's not just new, used is following the same trend.
I bought my Sport used with 19k on the ODO. $43k all said and done.
It came factory with the hardtop, powerlocks/windows, LSD, 8 speed trans, basic tow package, alpine system, soft tonneau cover, and cold weather package. Price was meh...
Finally got around to installing my fender chop kit, had to put in a bit of work with the dremel and box cutter to make it work with the single piece sport fenders, worked out pretty well, may come in later and do some revisions, at least just to try and get the lights a little more snug to the...
This thread may interest you. Hopefully Jeep actually follows through with a functioning product!
Honestly, the extra removable section on the Broncos is one of the few things I'm jealous about, if only because you can run "topless" without having to remove the back window, which is awkward. If...
It's people doing dumb shit without thinking first, like eating while driving, taking on their cell phones...
...or trying to drive through water that is WAY to deep. It's a Jeep, not a submarine.
Too many folks go out in brand new vehicles with very little experience, and fail to accurately...
It was a 107 today! So much for mounting my steering stabilizer and exhaust loop skid!
Decided to use the early morning cool hours to put V2 of my hood decals that @pixeldecals made for me, turned out great!
Really like how the 392 bronze pops against the red, should match my wheels nicely...
It would be best to make sure that the axle is centered properly before you mess with anything else, as the axle will affect the whole geometry of the suspension. However, I believe as long as the tires are within 3/4 of a inch or so of each other relative to the truck, then that is acceptable...
There are two things you can check, in order:
1: Make sure that if you got a adjustable track bar with your lift, that your track bar is adjusted so the axle is now centered. When these vehicles are lifted, the axles will shift, adjustable track bars correct this.
2: Make sure your sway bar is...
Yup, just make sure there's a spot that you can tie to easily. If you're still on the fence, I'd say go with the M12 electric ratchet, open ended wrench, and short 'ball' style bungees, and see if you can live with the hack. If you decide to go with the Terra or Apex's after all, you still have...
