People make fun of me, call me OCD etc but I usually clay new vehicles not long after I get them home. It's amazing what they pick up in transport or sitting outside on the dealer lot.
My fairly new Black one is already swirled, I'd like to kill the dealer attendant that washed it, pretty sure...
I'm still thinking Chargeback on your CC. This is exactly why this recourse exists. They'll either contact you immediately to remedy, or if they just let it go, now you've got 2gs to replace the rear shocks with a pair of suitable shocks right from a Bilstein authorized vendor.
The tool kit is like a camera. The best camera is the one you happen to have with you. That beautiful Digital SLR isn't worth squat if you don't have it with you at the moment you see a killer shot you want to take. My collection of tools is at home, but the admittedly very cheap tool kit is...
That's how I took the experience. Like a trophy truck, you can see em sway easily, but they really absorb the harsh stuff.
These Reds on my 23 are way too harsh for what the Rubicon is meant to do in my opinion. Wish I had pulled those Foxs' (Foxes? I dunno) and put the overland shocks back on...
I've still got my overland shocks from my 20, they only had about 2k miles when I took them off and switched to the Rubi Fox shocks. They're so easy to swap I should throw them on the JTR for giggles. The red shocks are kinda harsh in my opinion.
Of course I'm in the rare crowd that thought...
Yeah, Hydro Bumps don't raise the truck, but they are important to the overall way a Mojave rides. Those Hyrdo bumps assist with the last quarter of compression travel to slow the body down before it bottoms out completely. Without these, you've only got half the Mojave suspension equasion. The...
Did they charge you to remove the factory ppf on the front fenders first? The rear just has a square, but unless something changed, my 20 overland fronts were fully wrapped, you could see the seams at the very edges.
This. Great deals out there now, and if you're shopping off the lot, the more time that goes by, the less you get to pick from? Depends on your needs and wants I suppose.
I caved at 52 on my 64k List JTR, Now I'm seeing them for 49...but I got what I wanted. The ones left are all missing one...
I want my truck to be all purpose, but I went with a Rubi over a Mojave. My thought was I had enough mechanical skill to change the shocks, but I don't have the skill to mess with adding a locker to the front diff...
Playing in the snow the other day, even though the rear locker says "shift to...
Yeah...balance is different, need to hook the front on the JT top. What you have pictured there is how I hang Wifey's JL top. I use the topsy brackets in the rear, wish they'd find a way to make something like that for the JT, maybe in the bottom rear lip or something.
4 eye bolts in the ceiling of my garage, 4 cam buckle straps. Lift each corner a little, hook a strap to that corner, and pull it up. I do all 4 a little at a time until it's just up high enough for me to pull out of the garage and leave the hard top hanging there. (Don't forget to take a little...
