  1. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

People make fun of me, call me OCD etc but I usually clay new vehicles not long after I get them home. It's amazing what they pick up in transport or sitting outside on the dealer lot. My fairly new Black one is already swirled, I'd like to kill the dealer attendant that washed it, pretty sure...
  2. Need suggestions on Tail lights

Guess the question is, what is your goal/reason for wanting to replace them? Clearance? Change of Pace/Aesthetics?
  3. Mopar Bilstein Lift problems! Leaking shock #68605886AA-001 not available?Mopar Parts Giant told me to eat it no RMA

I'm still thinking Chargeback on your CC. This is exactly why this recourse exists. They'll either contact you immediately to remedy, or if they just let it go, now you've got 2gs to replace the rear shocks with a pair of suitable shocks right from a Bilstein authorized vendor.
  4. Clicking Doors - Modify Door Check?

Solved it with a 23. Extreme? Probably, but it was bugging me. (joking of course....but it did solve the problem).
  5. Place to Buy Decals?

Pixel Decals...they do great work. I think they are a forum sponsor.
  6. Where do I find provided Torx Tool Kit?

Can sell those for a good couple bucks. I'd complain they were empty though LOL.
  7. Where do I find provided Torx Tool Kit?

The tool kit is like a camera. The best camera is the one you happen to have with you. That beautiful Digital SLR isn't worth squat if you don't have it with you at the moment you see a killer shot you want to take. My collection of tools is at home, but the admittedly very cheap tool kit is...
  8. Looking to put Mojave shocks and springs on a sport S

That's how I took the experience. Like a trophy truck, you can see em sway easily, but they really absorb the harsh stuff. These Reds on my 23 are way too harsh for what the Rubicon is meant to do in my opinion. Wish I had pulled those Foxs' (Foxes? I dunno) and put the overland shocks back on...
  9. Looking to put Mojave shocks and springs on a sport S

I've still got my overland shocks from my 20, they only had about 2k miles when I took them off and switched to the Rubi Fox shocks. They're so easy to swap I should throw them on the JTR for giggles. The red shocks are kinda harsh in my opinion. Of course I'm in the rare crowd that thought...
  10. Looking to put Mojave shocks and springs on a sport S

Yeah, Hydro Bumps don't raise the truck, but they are important to the overall way a Mojave rides. Those Hyrdo bumps assist with the last quarter of compression travel to slow the body down before it bottoms out completely. Without these, you've only got half the Mojave suspension equasion. The...
  11. Shop Labor Rates!!!

Shesh. And the mechanic/tech is prolly making 30-40.
  12. 20th Anniversary Rubicon Shift Knob

Be nice if they just sold the coin insert on the top. The rest I already have.
  13. Mods: Regrets and Required

Did they charge you to remove the factory ppf on the front fenders first? The rear just has a square, but unless something changed, my 20 overland fronts were fully wrapped, you could see the seams at the very edges.
  14. Better incentives in February on leftover 23s?

This. Great deals out there now, and if you're shopping off the lot, the more time that goes by, the less you get to pick from? Depends on your needs and wants I suppose. I caved at 52 on my 64k List JTR, Now I'm seeing them for 49...but I got what I wanted. The ones left are all missing one...
  15. Why Lift a Mojave?

I want my truck to be all purpose, but I went with a Rubi over a Mojave. My thought was I had enough mechanical skill to change the shocks, but I don't have the skill to mess with adding a locker to the front diff... Playing in the snow the other day, even though the rear locker says "shift to...
  16. Gladiator top removal - best way to remove myself?

Yeah...balance is different, need to hook the front on the JT top. What you have pictured there is how I hang Wifey's JL top. I use the topsy brackets in the rear, wish they'd find a way to make something like that for the JT, maybe in the bottom rear lip or something.
  17. Gladiator top removal - best way to remove myself?

I should have included pictures. Here you go.
  18. Jeep names. What is yours and why?

Montell (As in Montell Jordan) It's a black JTR, "Gotta get mine in a big black truck..."
  19. Gladiator top removal - best way to remove myself?

4 eye bolts in the ceiling of my garage, 4 cam buckle straps. Lift each corner a little, hook a strap to that corner, and pull it up. I do all 4 a little at a time until it's just up high enough for me to pull out of the garage and leave the hard top hanging there. (Don't forget to take a little...
  20. Am I stupid to Keep in garage

I don't know if you had a KJ or KK but my wife had a 04 KJ for the longest time. That little ute was an awesome vehicle for it's time.
