If you had 4.10s already, I'd say stay there. But please, do not spend the money going to 4.10s. If you're spending the money and cracking open the diff, go to 4.56.
I think of it as +1 vs +2. 3.73 to 4.10 is a +1, and not worth it. But 3.73 to 4.56 is +2.
Or for a Rubi or Mojave (Or Max...
CMM can help with that...maybe? Or maybe they just have those for the JK, I can't remember.
Papa...I see you flirting with a Mojave...what did you like about it? If you didn't have a beautiful Overland I'd say go for it, but given you do, and is already tastefully modded, including springs you...
Same, I got 4 with my first one (2020), my wife got 3 with hers, and a botte of touch up paint (2021), and now anything bought after 7/2023 only comes with 2, and I didn't even get the touch up paint.
The responses you get her vary widely based on people's dealer experience. I have a very good...
1 floor jack, 2 jack stands, and 2 wrenches. Very doable in your driveway.
Edit. Sorry, 4 wrenches. I forgot the sway bar end link and the brake line bracket.
"Sucky" is subjective. If you don't want any softer then your sport shocks then no, you don't want the factory Foxes that came on 20-22 Rubis. Some people prefer stiffer shocks for on street control. I personally liked the Factory Foxes, they were very bump compliant, where the black and the red...
I just want to know what ya'll are putting in these door nets to cause the sag. I've never had the problem, but I only put an occasional pamphlet, parking garage pass, or an empty pack of smokes in there until I can get to a trash can.
The Altitude (not High...just Altitude) package on JLs have black dash panels. It's gloss black, just so you know. I'm sure Benny at AllMoparParts could get them for you.
Agree 100%. Not a knock on it, I understand exactly why and I'm ok with that. I don't have a sunrider, but I do have the soft top on Wifey's JL and it does the same. Just don't want anyone surprised or alarmed by it.
Is this a brush wash or a touchless pressure wash? Neither are particularly great for it, but I'd not want to take any soft top, even the little sunrider through a brush wash, that abrasion can't be good for the fabric.
Touchless wash, ehhh. It will very likely leak around the gutters/door...
Time is money? Probably saved themselves about a half hour of airing up. Or time costs money? You get the idea. If I was buying 4 of them I think I'd look for a different solution LOL
4 units and 4 batteries would cover the cost of an ARB onboard at that point.
I'm in the minority. I mentioned it for comparison but I actually liked the foxes. (Or maybe I just got a really good set?) I preferred the progressive feel with small bump compliance. The Reds feel like they don't have that, which tells me I would probably hate the Bilsteins. Guess that's why...
If you think your 23 with Reds were mushy...man you would have hated the 20-22 foxes. These reds are a TON stiffer then the Foxes I had on my last one.
Ooo good point. Never thought of that. How big is the battery you're using and does it make it through all 4 tires? Could have one on the charger while the other battery is inflating tires.
Nice. Anyone use the Ryobi one? I have a ton of Ryobi batteries from other tools, so I was thinking of trying out the Ryobi inflator, buying one of the "tool only" deals. Tire inflation is about the only use I have, and even then maybe twice a year. Onboard air is a hefty price for my use case.
