  3. Finally done!

Looks good!! I finally got tired of that up and down and in and out of the garage to get the right socket myself. I picked up one of those tool cart/ stools from Harbor Freight on one of their sales. Worth its weight in tools!!!! 3 drawers, cushy seat, and 2 magnetic trays to keep bolts and...
  4. Arkansas Selling my 2020 Gladiator

Those are some good looking seats!! Good luck with the sale. šŸ‘
  5. Other obsessions and hobbies or other. šŸ™ƒ

Finally cleaned my solar panels yesterday evening. For those with ground mounts, the Bora sweeper mop thing with the microfiber rag thing as the head is absolutely perfect for this. Filled the reservoir with Dawn dish soap and water. Wet em, scrub em, and rinse em. Does the perfect job. My...

  10. Options to haul bicycles in bed

You can always do the hitch mounted rack if you don’t want the bed cover open.
  11. Replacing factory halogens with led

That’s going to be mostly personal preference but in short, yes LED is worth it. Longer life span, less power draw, usually more resilient if they’re produced by a reputable company. Just depends on what you want and how much you want to spend.
  12. July 4th Badge of Honor

It told me I needed to call an agent. Haven’t gotten around to that quite yet.
  13. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Looks pretty good to me! That’s a heck of a lot of work. As long as it functions as intended you should be fine. You should see some of the barbed wire fences out here and some I’ve done. Posts don’t match. Some of em are just black locust pieces dug into the ground. Most of it’s the same fence...
  14. 2026 Gladiator Mojave

What color is that? It’s a great looking Jeep. Welcome to the dark side.
  15. Anyone tow an 8.5x16 enclosed trailer?

Pretty nice trailer!! šŸ‘ if you can’t get ahold of a WDH go for one of those adjustable hitch things that give you a few different heights. Heavier load higher setting. Had to go a 2ā€ rise when towing with my Transit van. Leveled me out pretty good for dragging a tractor to the house.
  16. Why's it so dead???

True. I’ve run out at Anza Borrego a few times and a couple trails right near here as well. The shocks seem shocked when they go off the pavement. It is NOT a comfortable or entirely stable ride. I’ll be addressing everything sooner rather than later. Gas prices are falling and maybe if the new...
  17. Why's it so dead???

Probably more engagement for runs and stuff on social media. I don’t have social media stuff any more. I think more solid content is on forums and it’s easier to research things that you want to know or that come up in the building of a vehicle. Having said that, whenever I do finally feel my...
  18. If not Camaro, then what?

If you’re talking the 3 row go sit in one. That 3rd row leaves a lot to be desired. We considered one when looking for wife a 4Runner. Some good deals to be had on them though. They can get pretty fancy with the night vision and all that jazz.
  19. Reaching out to those doing their own shock tuning?

Thanks for the feedback. I’m just running down rabbit holes both for me and anyone else that had similar questions. The more I ask the more I learn and the closer I get to what I think I want. Trying to cut through hype and BS to get to the meat and potatoes.
  20. If not Camaro, then what?

We made the switch from passenger road vehicles to the more rugged vehicles and haven’t looked back. While probably not quite as comfortable they offer capabilities that ensure our family’s safety. If needs be we can load everything up and get out in the event of fire or whatever. SoCal is...
