How come it's so dead in here? I see at least 5-10 jeeps every day (about 2-3 being Gladiators) in my long 5 mile commute to and from work every day but not much posting going on in here. I feel like SoCal is full of people like us that love these things but am shocked that there's not more people on here posting the cool places they went or looking for people to do trails and such. I have a few friends that have Jeeps (and my girlfriend has a JL) that we like to go offroading and exploring and would love to see more of us out there and setting up meets and things on here in advance.
Agreed, I see at least 5-10 jeeps daily on my short commute in around town. But I think what others have said there is more engagement on social media fb, instagram etc.

Probably more engagement for runs and stuff on social media. I don’t have social media stuff any more. I think more solid content is on forums and it’s easier to research things that you want to know or that come up in the building of a vehicle.

Having said that, whenever I do finally feel my Jeep is ready for some solid runs I’ll post on here to see if anyone is interested. I have a lot of work to do yet before I’m 100% confident in it. It’ll go now but I’m not pushing it on the current setup. Light trails, maybe some calm flexing but that’s about it. Suspension really needs reworked and I’m sorely in need of full skids before I try to go full HAM. I’ll get there.

I'll be interested when ever you are ready with your jeep, but there's always fun trails that you can do that don't really require a bunch of things done. :like:

True. I’ve run out at Anza Borrego a few times and a couple trails right near here as well. The shocks seem shocked when they go off the pavement. It is NOT a comfortable or entirely stable ride. I’ll be addressing everything sooner rather than later. Gas prices are falling and maybe if the new employment stuff comes through I’ll be going for it even sooner. Have a couple more weeks of training to do before that falls into line.
