Looking for ways to mount a Rotopax in the bed. I dont have any bed molle panels. Not opposed to drilling the bad and mounting it right to the bed. Any suggestions?
Got my first CEL yesterday, P0300, at 9570 miles. Bought it the end of Dec and had made it this long without the dreaded P0300 code, thought I was in the clear. Will take it in tomorrow and see what happens.
Disconnected my front driveshaft, axle side, to be able to lower the axle far enough to install springs. Been trying to find the torque spec on those four bolts?
Considering Cooper STT Pros 37x12.5.17 and trying to get an idea of what to expect for tread life? Daily driver / weekend off roading. Many of my internet searches are showing results for 1/2 & 3/4 ton full size pickups which doesn't really translate to the Gladiator.
How does MC Gamechanger 3.5" compare to Clayton's Overland Plus 3.5" ? Metalcloak has Duraflex bushings and Clayton has Giiro bushings. MC claims their bushings are maintenance free and Clayton also claims their bushings are maintenance free. I feel Clayton's arms are probably stronger...
Nitto Ridge Grapplers are one of the tires I'm considering in size 37x12.5x17. All the other tires I'm considering have a 3 ply sidewall and the Nitto's only have a 2 ply. Are the Nitto sidewalls less durable and resistant to punctures than a 3 ply would be?
This past weekend was out and in parts of the trail there brush rubbing along the body. My 17 JKUR was all pinstriped. I'd like to prevent or minimize that from happening to the JT.
So I stopped in a place that specializes in window tents and 3M bras. They've done Jeeps in 3M and said it works...
I heard the 2' Mopar lift is made by Teraflex. (Of course the shocks aren't) I knew in the past some of the Mopar lifts were rwbranded Teraflex. Is this still.the case?
Do any of the programmers allow one to disconnect the electronic sway bar in 2 high? Evo offers a conversion that changes the sway bar from electronic to manual.
Many times I want to run disconnected just for the better ride off road but don't need to be in 4wd.
So the 8.4" system in the Gladiator is utterly useless off road as almost all apps are lost once cell or internet is lost. I see a lot of people running tablets off road. What is a good tablet for off road?
Today I'm driving along offroad and the message pops up on the dash "some apps currently not available". I hit the apps icon and almost all the apps were grayed out and not working. It was particularly annoying since I was recording a new trail in nav and that was gone to. Off road pages...
So, I'm not sure if hooking up my Viair portable air compressor the other night was what resulted in the loss of most of my apps but it made me wonder if there is a "proper way" to make the connections to the battery? I'm not talking about positive and negative either, lol. Is it ok to make...
Lost most of the apps, offroad pages, ect, in the apps menu yesterday. Later I finally fit restore default settings in the settings menu. This got the apps back but I lost the trails I had recorded in nav.
Any idea what would cause the loss of the apps? I hooked up a portable air compressor...
I live in the desert. I don't need foglights. Would like to switch the fog lights out to an offroad driving light. The only problem is the fogs turn off with high beams. Is there a way to make it so that the circuit that controls the fog lamps will stay on with high beams?
Has anyone else noticed that for the most part Wranglers don't wave back? When I was in the 17 JKUR seemed like most Wranglers waved. Now hardly any return waves.
