That's exactly what I did, I wired an extra wire from the ambers (pin3 I think on the tail) to the BCM and had no luck. I do have a sport that originally came with halogens so not sure if that will be the determining factor. I worked with JSCAN for a couple months and tried every option they...
yeah if I didn't have my switch already inside the cabin I would've 100% added it in 4xE door. Right now the Air also controls the sway bar and in the future will also handle the lockers.
Right, I'm in MA so I'm picky with cars and salt. The BMW is my winter/travel car so if there's heavy salt on the road, that's the car I'm taking. The Gladiator I'll take out after a good rain during the winter so I'm not sucking up all that salt. Camaro doesn't see rain or winter haha.

yeah, you could tap into them so they work as you described. You would just need to know the amp draw of the added rear fogs and make sure the fuse can handle it
A little Saturday afternoon shoot! Fun fact - be very careful when wiring through the firewall on the passenger side! I use a hanger and apparently sliced the HVAC power right just right to where HVAC/auto headlights and stop/start didn't want to work haha! It's fixed now but what a pita!!
