What’s funny is a week ago was told I was in JB. Checked the next day and was told still “I”. And each time I check I’m told either is pending inspection, or that it’s passed inspection. They have no idea.

Got an email from a rep after I got my claim number 2 weeks ago. Said he would look into it and get back to me within a few days. Then never heard back nor has he ever responded to my emails. Meanwhile dealer lots are getting flooded with ‘em.

@JeepCares - this whole thing has been a joke. Especially when I was told that customer orders were priority over dealer spec vehicles.

Same exact boat here. I am on day 25 now. Some chat reps say I am pending inspection, others say I have passed inspection. At first I was told that it would be escalated after 15 days, now I have been told it will not be escalated until it has been in this status for 30 days. Meanwhile aside from the 3 or 4 others on this thread, ‘I’ status seems to usually last < 24 hours. Chat reps all still seem to say that my situation is ‘normal’. Talked to dealership and they seem to not be able to get any different information from what I have received from Jeep Chat. Yesterday was 8 weeks from when I placed my order. Not as long as some, but still frustrating nonetheless.

Ordered 4/26. Been in “I” for 35 days. No answers from anyone. The dealer I was using has 19 in stock, but I think I will be taking my business elsewhere. I’m cancelling tomorrow.

Ordered 4/26. Been in “I” for 35 days. No answers from anyone. The dealer I was using has 19 in stock, but I think I will be taking my business elsewhere. I’m cancelling tomorrow.
@DPittman Does yours happen to be a dual top? There is another thread suggesting this might be a reason some are being delayed.

Yes it is. Guess I should have just ordered the hard top and bought a soft top down the road. @JeepCares and “Jeff” with Jeep product information center- totally worthless.

@JeepCares If there is a delay due to dual top option, please let us know. The lack of information on orders while others are being built and delivered is absolutely infuriating. And please save the recycled excuse of 12 week delivery timeframe and must be in a status for 30 days before a problem will be investigated. Those seem to end up being lies. Please let us know why our Gladiators are sitting in ‘Inspection’ status for a month or longer and no one will investigate or if they have investigated, no one gives a response. This is horrible customer service and it is going to cost you loyal customers. My next step is to go rogue and begin emailing execs within the company personally to see if anyone in the company actually gives a damn about their customers.

We certainly understand that this is an exciting time and waiting is the hardest part. As you are already aware, average time frame for a new launch is 10-12 weeks. Because this is a new vehicle launch, there are many reasons as to why some builds are completed before others. With that being said, we have access to limited information regarding what is causing a delay in a build. We do apologize that we do not have any additional information for you regarding delays, but we are available via private message to check your order status periodically.
