The modified relay looks like the way to go if you don't want to do DIY. I assume all they did was short pin 30 to pin 87 internally. What I don't know is the quality of their workmanship.Ok, how is pulling a relay and installing another "if possible" not the cleanest way. I never said its not the cleanest..
I'm surprised Cooltech went through so much trouble with their jumper when they could have just removed the relay and replaced it with a short jumper across those terminals in the fuse box. If I was to DIY it, that's what I would do.
