2.5 steering??

Looking to upgrade my steering in a 25 Mojave. Looking at some aluminum 2.5 ton steering. So far doetsch, rpm and tmr. What are people running and what is recommended.

I went Fusion 4X4. Runs like butter. Last year I drove 200 miles off-road in Death Valley. Got back on road and it was like it never left pavement. I would recommend theirs.

I didn't worry about cutting anything with what their directions say. Something about the dust guard I think.

I have the Core 2" aluminum with Apex anti flop tie rod ends.

Which ever set up you go with. Make sure to get anti flop tie rod ends.

As a side note on mine. They brine the roads here. I've had no rust forming on my ends at all

I’m running RPM. Earlier this year a lady ran a stop sign and I hit her, did my best to avoid but my left knuckle was toast, RCV was cooked and the axle housing bent. How did RPM hold up? A slight bend to the driver side rod arm, but the bar was fine. 10/10 would do buy RPM again.

Rpm, apex, core 4x4 all run apex tie rod ends so they're basically the same given a bar of 7075 is a bar of 7075.

Rock Krawler have their own take on 2.5 ton that uses pretty different tie rod ends but the apex stuff is pretty bullet proof.

Personally I have RPM 2.5 ton on the gladiator and Cavfab 1 ton stuff on a JK and it's nice. If I was buying 2.5 ton steering again I'd probably go with who was cheapest and has anti-flop ends from any of the major players

I went with Fusion because the actual ball joint is a cartridge and replaceable without replacement of the entire end forging.. 2 cents applied

Tmr has a similar set up to where the ball joint is bolted on
