I have a 2020 sport s thats making lots of noise in even the slightest bumps (jangling like something is gonna fall out) all tires are cupping.

Im the original owner and can tell you i have put this thing through hell. I Bought it in july of 2019 in cochise county AZ, wheeled in the mountains around tombstone for a couple months then moved to hawaii. Lots of crawling over lava and high speed rough terain. Its still stock except wheels and shocks are rubi take offs.

So ive been looking at the clayton 1.5" overland+ and a set of bilstien 5100. Im only running 33's and I dont need a whole lot of lift to do what i do, but i need depedability and a good on road ride.

Does clayton have discounts for disabled vets?
Do i need to use spacers with the rubi wheels?
Do you think this setup will be as stong as stock has been?

Thanks for any input.

Clayton does a veteran discount.

Active and retired military email [email protected] for military discount code!
Whether or not you need wheel spacers will depend on a few things. What width tire are you going to run? And do you have the max tow package which gives you the wider axles?

Clayton stuff is stronger than stock. The suspension links are thicker wall. The coils are higher rate.

Odds are you’re fine but to be 100% sure reach out to Clayton and ask.
I just put one of their lifts on this month and they were very responsive when I had questions.

Im a disabled vet living on the big island. Its expensive to exist here. I have 3.73 gearing and no real way to move 4.88 right now. No funds to buy new wheels. And i just bought a set of the new duratracs in 33" x 11.5.

I think you’ll be fine without wheel spacers. Your current 285 tires are a little over 11” wide. So not much wider going to 11.50.

I don’t have experience with that width tire on the standard width axles like you have, so I can’t say for sure.

I went to Rubi takeoffs in my sport S (narrow axle) 285/70/17 tires . no rub until I put Apexlynx disconnects on. had to install spacers and now have @ 1.5" poke. weathertech mud flaps in front stopped the door hinge paint chipping

Hey there!

We do offer a military discount, just shoot an email over to [email protected] or send us a PM here!

Rubicon wheels would just require a 1.5" wheel spacer which we do have on our site!

It will be stronger than stock, without a doubt! Plus you get our lifetime warranty on all control arms and track bars against any sort of bending or breaking :)
