I fly da plane...
This padding is all over my 24 Rubicon X. It's much more quiet and I think more comfortable. Soooo, I'll change the suspension, put 40s on, and tear off the doors to fix that.

I went from a 2021 Overland to a 2024 Rubicon and I must say there was much improvement with the steering (feels alot tighter), insulation/wind noise was noticeably reduced. Infotainment cluster is leaps and bound better than the 8.4" cluster I had and the uconnect 5 system is much more intuitive than the previous gen. Overall, I am super pleased!!!

I was against the redesign of the 24s, the lighter color dash is horrible, but I looked at trading in my Mojave for a 24 JLU Rubicon yesterday day. I really liked it after driving it. The deal didn’t workout, but now I am totally open to the 24 design. Still don’t really care for the bigger screen though, but definitely has an updated feel to it.
I prefer the painted dash than the new cloth dash as well. I’m sure it’s not great to clean. I am happy they decided to do away with different screen sizes and stuck with one size for all models tho. Hopefully a good deal comes your way.

Congrats on the new Rubicon! Glad to hear things have improved. I had a Sport S, which I loved but I deff would like to get more options this time around.

I got a 2024 Sport S - previously had a 2023 and turned it in for a great deal on the 2024. Main reason for me was the improved 3.6L VVT engine and the screen. Found out about the other goodies like side curtain air bags, forward collision warning, the cruise control and I've been super happy with the decision. Went to a business lease which was important for me as well.

SInce then I've been busy on Gladdy...added 35" Pirelli Scorpion's, K&N cold air intake, throttle body spacer, Mopar 2" lift kit with Bilstein reservoir shocks, B&M manual shifters, AFE scorcher module and AFE rock crawler exhaust, and waiting on power steps to arrive soon. I'm dead set on a Supercharger but its been tough finding fitment at a decent price up here in Canada.

Gonna do a spray on undercoating for road sound soon and am on the waiting list for the new Motobilt tail lights. They're awesome.

I must say that I don't like the new grill. Might go to a 2023 again but if I could afford it I'd get that beauty Kaiser style grill but its 5 fricken K which is actually 7 for us up here. Looked at getting the Westin HD grill but it seems out of stock now. Might go Motobilt front grill or aluminum.

Yeah that new cloth dash is lousy. Suggest what I did - ordered a black leather Sahara replacement from Mopar and it looks like a million dollars compared to the silver Levi look

The 2024 Pentastar 3.6L was upgraded to a VVT (variable valve timing) improved performance, fuel economy and emissions...my post was maybe misleading - the main reason was I scored such a good deal on the new one and I was able to switch over from a personal purchase to a business lease for deductions. That plus in 1 year I was nearly outta warranty after driving it so much - so now I've got lotsa warranty

Sorry, that was done back in 2015 for the 2016 model year.
All Gladiators have that PUG with VVT and VVL
The 2024 is the same as the 2023, 2022 and so on.
It was first introduced in the 2016 model year Grand Cherokee and another model or two I can't recall. So you aren't getting a different engine than what was in the 22 or 23 models.

I must say that I don't like the new grill.
That was done for cooling - if you TOW, you want that new grill style. There's a reason, and it wasn't for looks.

K&N cold air intake
Why? for the added "roar" when accelerating?

I stand corrected on the VVT Papa...added the K&N for a little more horsepower - can you recommend a Supercharger that will work with the 2024?

More HP with a CAI?
Sorry to say it, but marketing hype got in the way there.
Unless you race a Jeep - a CAI is for sound, the cool factor.
You won't get more HP out of it with a 3.6.
These already get and pull all the air they need, and if you look into the right side of the grill just right, you will see a passage that goes into the bottom of the stock air box for - cold air. There's a lot of threads and posts on those cold air intakes in here - and the general conclusion - you get a cool sound, but that's pretty much it.

If you want more horsepower out of a 3.6 - it takes some money and equipment that bolt-on sub-$300 parts just aren't going to do. Jeep has squeezed these pretty hard already. Supercharging it will be about the only real way to gain real power.

There are some threads here on the supercharger - not a lot are doing it, but a few have. Some have had great luck even long term, I can think of another one or two who went back after problems.

Yeah I've looked at lots of threads and I'm leaning toward the Procharger centrifugal through Quadratech. Seems like the best route price wise and ease of install. Love the look and reputation of the Magnuson but its twice the price.
