Just got my new all weather floor mats but noticed there was no drain plug in the floor. Did they just forget to put it in my rubicons floor or did they stop including it? Can I just cut the carpet?

Rubicons have drain plugs. There is a punch out in the carpet, and the drain plugs are under that. You don't have to cut the carpet, it's already pre-marked where the drain plugs are. Just push it out.

Same with the sport models, I can confirm this.

Yep. Look close and you will see the pre cuts in the carpet. I cut one side and folded over the carpet (did not cut both sides or remove) in the event I ever remove the Mopar all weather floor mats and go back to carpet floor mats.

Are there any drain plugs in the rear? The rear slush mats don't have any holes.

Of which 'all weather floor mats' do you speak of?
My Mojave came with carpet style mats and I was about to buy WeatherTech's offering.

Yep there are a few, whats interesting is there are even more drain plugs completly hidden under the carpet than are available by just punching out the carpet.

If you have the cash to spare replace the carpet with Armalite. it wasn't out when I got my JT but I would have done that instead of weathertech

One of the best investment I made so far. Will also install in the JL when we get one later this year.

I would also recommend, if funding allows. It sounds like you are interested in using the drain holes. With the Mopar all weather mats, they don't provide for use of the rear drain holes. Armalite does.
