2022 Diesel Gladiator Tazer question

I purchased the SGW Extension Cable from Z Automotive I currently have my Tazer plugged in to be able to use the live functions.

My question....Do I have to unmarry the Tazer to unplug to connect the extension cable? Or can I just unplug and connect the extension cable without losing my settings?

I also have a 2022 diesel (though I don’t think the diesel is any different than the 3.6 for this question). I’ve unplugged without unmarrying many times, and everything is the same when plugging back in. No problem

Problems may occur if you don’t unmarry and dealer reflashes the PCM, or if you don’t unmarry and want to sell the Tazer (for instance the truck gets wrecked or something)

I have removed and replaced my Tazer multiple times without unmarrying and remarrying, especially when updating the software, and never had a problem.
