We have a new 2022 Diesel Rubicon JT ordered. We are trying to locate the correct MOPAR part number for the Master Swap Set to put the 4.56 gears in the Jeep. They are willing to do it before we pick up the Jeep and honor the warranty. The problem I am having is they can't seem to find the right part numbers for the Master Swap Set of 4.56s specifically for the Diesel...............Any help would be greatly appreciated.............On a brighter note our new JT started down the assembly line today.............It is supposed to be at the dealership by the end of the month

It's the same install kit for a diesel or gas. Sorry, not sure on the part #.

What size tires are you going to be running? That's a deep gear for a diesel.

The photo on here is of our 2020 JT Sport............It was a max tow and ran 35s.............we traded it on the 2022 JTRD

There are three...four possible ways to approach this. Mopar, of course, which in my experience, has the clunkiest parts-lookup interface. Spicer, which is the actual OE vendor, is my go-to. Even then, using Quadratec, for example, you can get the Spicer bearing and seal kit or the whole master schmeer, which includes ring bolts, shims, preload collar, etc. (ideal). The fourth (there are other vendors of master overhaul kits, too) would be Yukon. I reference them because the tier three vendor of the actual bearings/seals/ring bolts - Koyo, Timken, CR, etc. - are identical to original equipment.

I totally understand that they would have to use Mopar, but it would be up to them to piece it all together, even if it were singular parts, such as each cone, cup, seal, etc.

Geezuz how big a trailer are you towing? There are quite a few threads about towing with bigger tires, diesel, and gearing. Most people say don't change the gears when running 37's. I can't actually vouch for it as I don't tow or have 37s but have read a lot of the threads. Maybe someone will chime in.

The parts guys at the dealership have literally told me "if you can help us find the right part numbers for both the front and rear we will order and install them"................crazy I know but that is where I sit today..............I have looked at numerous MOPAR PARTS websites and have just unfortunately become more confused.............I was hoping that someone had made this update with MOPAR branded parts and could help.............I would order aftermarket from another source quickly but since they need to purchase and install MOPAR to keep my warranty valid I am trying to help them find the right numbers..............

I'm not concerned with MPG at 80 mph.............I just want to be able to tow our 20ft trailer loaded with a crew UTV and gear anywhere we want to go without it constantly downshifting.............We had a 2020 Gladiator Sport with the 3.6 gas and it was a maxtow............running 35s I found that 8th gear more elusive than a Sasquatch...........if you had anything hooked to it seemed to rarely get out of 5th or 6th at highway speeds...............Having a Ford F250 with the 6.7 powerstroke as a daily driver for work doesn't help with my desire to be geared correctly for the 37s on the Gladiator

You're right-on. Matching the powertrain, as designed, with actual ground speed is key. My usual advice with a 37 or 38 is 4.88 for the 4 or 6 gas, 4.56 with the diesel or HEMI. 4.88's will work just fine however, and might even be advantageous as you'll have a little more flexibility while towing on grades and at higher elevations. You're giving the 8-speed a chance to work in your favor.

Google says part #s are:

10040469 (front)
10040478 (rear)
Ring And Pinion Gear Kit - Mopar (68544667AA)
If you have your VIN number you can go to a Mopar parts site, enter the vin, then look up the parts for the differentials. If there is a kit it should be listed.
unfortunately since ours is in the build process the VIN is not valid

I think you're right on with your gear selection.

37s and 4:10s puts factory RPMs back at zero effectively. Heavy wheeling or towing should go up one more.

I updated my post with a couple links. The parts would be the same for 2021 or 2022.
