Purchased a 22 Gladiator Mojave and picked up the AEV 2" spacer lift along with AEV Geometry correction bracket. I ordered Micky Thompson Baja Boss AT 37 x 12.5 x 17 tires. I am looking for some thoughts on wheel offset / backspacing. I do not want a ton of "poke", some is fine, and inch or so, but nothing too extreme. AEV suggests 17 x 8.5 with a +25 to keep it pretty level with the fenders (that is the wheel they sell). Any suggestions on a wheel that would do the job that comes in a bronze finish? Thanks

Method 703 comes to mind (17x8.5 +25mm, bronze). Seems to be a popular choice. I think they have a few models in the bead grip series that share this spec.

Just so you know, +25 is about 2-1/2" further OUT than stock Mojave wheels.

That's more than a little poke.

For reference, I have 8” wide wheels with the equivalent of +6mm offset once the wheel spacers are factored in, 12.50 wide tires, wide axles like yours, and the poke is 1.5-2”.

Should be right around 1” of poke with the +25mm, 8.5” wide wheels, and 12.50 tires.

+25 should be nearly flush on a Rubi/Mojave with 12.5" wide tires. I base this on my Rubicon with stock wheels at +44.5. I'm tucked by about an inch or so with 12.5" wide tires. So +25 should be right about flush, maybe tucked by like 1/4". It's really the perfect setup.

I went with 0 offset, and I'll have to get some flare extensions once I get them installed.

Thanks everyone, this has been a huge help. Narrowing it down to Method 703 or 706 in the 17x8.5 with the +25mm offset. Backspacing and specs look almost identical to the AEV wheels.

+25 AEV wheels with 35x10.5 tires, 12.5 wide tires would extend another inch or so. Not a Mojave but same width axles.
