I have 3.73 limited slip. No leaks. I do pull a trailer that has a total weight of less than 3500 lbs. 5 or 6 times a year, never no farther than 6 or 7 miles. No off-road playing. Always keep it in the gauge. Stock size tires and wheels. Dealership did order a complete rear end.Not common at all since after they first came out. I have an early gladiator and I was unfortunate to have one with an early failure, but they swapped out the entire assembly and sent it to Dana to see where it failed. I didn’t care, it allowed them to fix it faster and I didn’t have to rely on the dealership to rebuild my rear end.

What kind of squeaking? And where/how did you notice this? How many miles?Just guessing the crap factory lsd blew up and the fragments ate the bearings. My ram rebel did the same, but fortunately I heard some squeaking and found it to be rocket hot after a relatively short drive. New gears, bearings, and a tru track went in and it was good for the next 60k miles I owned the truck.

- Asking because I'm getting an intermittent squeak in the rear at lower speeds, similar to when brake pads are low and more noticeable when near a wall/building. I had the tires rotated yesterday, they said the pads are 8-9mm at all 4 corners.

Yeah, pretty sure I could benefit changing the fluid in mine too. Mine doesn't always leave the marks quite equal lengths, granted I'm in a manual with 3.73s and 32" MTs.Both of my rear differentials (first one was replaced at 20k) started making a squeak for the first 100’ or so in the mornings after a rain. I replaced my rear differential fluid at 59k because it was starting to make noise when turning and I wanted to make sure there were no issues before it ran out of warranty. The fluid looked good. No surprises. I refilled and added the Mopar friction modifier back and the noise went away and it still works. I had to test it. Lol

I just used the valvoline squeeze bottles because it’s easy. They are supposed to have friction modifier included but I didn’t trust that. You walk a fine line because too much and it won’t work as well. I do manage to consistently get the advertised 0-60MPH times (according to Tazer) with this setup. Maybe I'll either locate the pic proof, and/or try again in spring. This was with new 255/75r17 MTs weighing about 49lbs each.
