I just read the article with the 5 year plan by FCA. I’ve gotten the impression that the JT was going to come in the showroom in April 2019, but only to find out that Ram is coming out instead.

I also noticed that the Pickup was slated to be in 2022 instead, could this be the JT and likely sharing frames with the oncoming Ram “Dakota”? Or is this another tease?

So what it sounds like that the JT Gladiator, based on the JL Wrangler Platform is resuming to be slated in production by April 2019(next year). Right?

Thanks for clarifying. I’ll resume the slated April 2019 production model JT Gladiator. I’m in a market for a purchase of the 2020 JT model year.

As for this so called 2022 Jeep Pickup could be another model. I’m theorizing that it will share a Dodge midsize “Dakota.” Body on frame midsize “Comanche” truck design and spawns the redesign Cherokee and the 3 row Wagoneer.

It’ll be nice to see, but we’ll see what Jeep will come out. I’m very excited with Jeep.

I’m glad to know that FCA is very seriously bringing in the Gladiator as promised. Mercedes left a huge scar with Jeep and teased us numerous times with the Pickup. Plus Daimler got rid of most important parts like emission hoses and such for some Jeep models like my 98 TJ. I’m addition, I like the designs and performances that Fiat did to almost all Jeep models.

The old JK Wrangler plant is currently retooling for the new JT pick up which will come out next year.

Nothing indicated a second Jeep truck or that Jeep will wait till 2022 to release the JT,

Like everyone said the 2022 date is a date that those vehicles will be on market. I read on the FCA report that it said Jeep will launch (2) new vehicles per year through that date. So I would assume the JT will be one of two for 2019.

Yo.... why are we still on this thread.... any word on terraflex AEV or Rock krawler doing and suspensions for the JL? I’m sure it’ll similar for the JT...or should we be looking at Lifts similar for the Ram?
