I have a 2022 JT diesel and ever since I picked it up the front end makes a clanking noise every time I hit a bump. Driving me crazy. They did install 2"mopar lift at dealer. I've been under there to try to find the noise thinking something was left loose but could find anything.

Do you guys have same issue?

The olny thing I think it may be are these T-tabs mounted under there. Not sure what they are for so thinking about removing them. Maybe you guys can tell what there for?

Those are flag nuts, they’re not likely the cause of any noise.

Start by checking all the bolts and make sure they’re tightened to spec. That includes the control arms, sway bar ends, shocks, ect. If memory serves most clanking and klunking post lift install is the track bar and/or sway bar ends.

Next look for plastic scraping and see if there is any thing contacting plastic that wasn’t before the lift.

Uh, those are normal. It's part of the assembly process - they use that handle or "flag" to hold the nut up in place while the bolt is run in. In some cases is also prevents the nut from turning while the bolt is torqued.
Why remove it? It's not making any noise. We all have hardware like that in our trucks.

I never drove the JT before the lift was installed so not sure if it was making noise before. Gupton Motor installed the lift before I picked it up.
So this is not normal, I'll keep looking.
I have look for anything loose or metal shaving. Ill take a closet look at the bar. Thanks.

Im just trying to find the noise and going to start stipping everything that could possible be it. Procees of elimination. That is the first time I ran into those but this is my first jeep.

Even the front trackbar to axle connection has a flag nut. Sure is nice when torqueing that bolt to a bazillion lb/ft. No need to put a wrench on that nut.

Not being a smartass... lol but I wonder if you climb up on the front bumper and bounce up and down if you could recreate the noise ? Just saying it might be easier to hear and locate vs. driving and listening over the diesel.
