What color is yours? All the ones I’ve seen have a red dash.
Metallic grey, like the other trims. Depends on exterior color. The bright colored ones get a grey dash.

Guarantee it doesn’t ride as nice as the overland with no life and all-season tires, anyone that says otherwise is in denial.
that makes zero sense, could be the dumbest post I've read in a while. I have 10ply tires, made for towing/heavy loads. Because they are taller tires with much larger sidewalls I have more flex which also improves the ride. I have better shocks with over 21 adjustments compared to your standard rated shocks. I also replaced the crappy rear stock jounce stops with Timbren SES. I have dialed in springs made specifically for a lifted jeep and the rated towing capacity. I have a trailer hooked up with an anti-sway weight distribution hitch that keeps the jeep tracking more true down the road than if it were not hooked up. I have the diesel with more torque and more weight up front.

Anyone that says I'm in denial is probably themselves in denial and just thinks their ride is better and can't stand it when someone has a better set up. You should take it down a notch buddy, no one is attacking you personally.

All Rubicons don't have a red dash. Mine doesn't, not that I'd mind if I did. Also, unless you can install all that stuff yourself (other than the leveling kit and manual disconnect, I can't), the cost savings aren't much, if anything, after factoring parts, labor, and warranty.

Base Sport S Max Tow -$45170
Base Rubicon Manual - 49,620
Base Rubicon Auto - $51620

That's not much difference, considering the cost of the lockers and whatever else you add. Nothing wrong with building your own if you dont like the factory options, or you just want to. But I don't think it's cheaper.
It definitely isn’t cheaper.

The 4:1 T Case in the Rubicon is designed for Rock Crawling period. The regular T Case is great for anything else. I'm amazed at the amount of travel my Max Tow springs have, and the leveling kit did just that it leveled it out. The Rubicon package is insanely expensive compared to just modding out a Max Tow. The Max Tow is easily the best bang for your buck and yes you'll be money ahead by modding it out over the Rubicon package.

And Yes, the red dash is butt ugly.
I’d do the math one more time. I have, and you end up at a higher number than buying a rubicon, and end up less capable.

No, anything with a lift and more aggressive tires is not gonna ride as well, simply physics

And the 4:1 transfer case makes a MASSIVE difference on steep descents from a safety standpoint. Think steep switchbacks. It’s not just for rock crawling.

lol, that’s kind of what you’re doing, “talking” about having a better setup

I personally have owned a JT Rubicon and a Mojave and the Mojave has rode the worst of all the trims, sport and overland are more creature comforts by design in comparison to the other trims, so obviously if it has softer suspension it’s gonna have better ride quality, I’m sure your suspension is more stiff than what’s standard.

Those were the prices with comparable options. Options don't cost more on the Rubicon. If it's not standard on the Rubicon (much of it is), the options cost the same, so the difference is the same. My Rubicon, which is a 2021, was well under $50k, by a good bit. Mine is manual, but even with the auto, it'd have been under $50k.
Exactly.

Only if done wrong. Unfortunately, most of the lifts done in garages and driveways are done at least a little bit wrong. There are some truly experienced folks that do their own, but most just bolt things up and hope for the best. Mine rides and handles better than stock with a 3-4” lift and 37’s, but the whole project was designed by an experienced shop to continue to be a good safe daily driver as well. And it is.

But not as good as something that isn’t lifted, I know fox shocks don’t exactly ride that great from experience.

I’d love to test drive your same setup from a stock sport, would be very hard pressed to believe the ride would be better on yours from an all season tire to an AT no AT is gonna ride as well as an all-season will because it’s a more aggressive tire so rubber is going to be stiffer, all of those components effect ride quality

My 2 cents. I went with the max tow. I new we were getting a 26' travel trailer with gvwr of 5,500lbs. I've taken it out on forest roads and some light trails and lowered the air down to around 17lbs or so and it performed exactly how I expected.

So sell it and please stop complaining to those of us who like our Jeeps.
I just want to get the message out and for people to stop being in denial and talking about how great the Mojave rides because it doesn’t, don’t want anyone new to make the mistake of getting a harsh ride by choosing to get a Mojave.
