Not true sir. I ordered a 23 while I was unsure if my 22 was ever going to make it here. They had to cancel the 23 order. Rep said they were only allowed so many. Dealers will try and put in fake sold orders to get the inventory faster.

Do you have a von? If not, the dealer didn't place the order. Von's happens as soon as it's ordered. I had my von for both JTR and JLUR 392 same day I ordered. Vin for loaded JTR 1 week later.
JTR 8/8 Accepted, 8/16 vin/scheduled.
JLUR 392xr 7/7 accepted nothing else.

I do have a VON but no VIN has shown up yet as per the dealer

I've seen and hear of the truckloads they get. My guess is Chrysler knows this. I almost ordered there. My gf used to live in TN. Would have given an excuse to visit.

Maybe based on how they take deposits and Jeep takes that as a sold unit? Pure speculation at this rate.

my 23 willys has been in production status since the 15th. Does it normally take this long? Also it says estimated delivery of Nov 14th. Thats crazy to me and I hope it's just an exaggeration.

No scheduled for production date yet, although I heard the High Velocity’s won’t be released before early/mid October. October Date seems to make sense as the High Velocity color doesn’t yet show up as a selectable build option on Jeep’s Website. My order is as follows

8spd Auto
High Velocity
Black fenders
Black grill
Black Tube Steps
Spray in bed liner
LED light package
Tow package
Trail Rail system
ACC and Safety Options
Standard cloth seating


No cold weather group, will probably add remote start later since it’s no longer an individual option.

My black one was ordered a few days after yours Aug 20 from Gupton and I’m 419.

Funny you say that.....I was hoping to have mine for Halloween ?. My shipping date is showing 15 October. It's going from OH to VA.......so there's a slight snowballs chance lol

Ship date preproduction is not a ship date. Basically the day they put it all together. Once it's built, you'll get a new ship date that may or may not be accurate!
