Well I contacted Auto Trader and they said it is available now for purchase and that Jeep is almost exactly like the one I ordered. The only difference I could tell is that it did not have the smokers group. I did that so I could turn it into another 12v USB port. Thanks for finding it. I will now be having a discussion with my dealer :mad:
God Speed, it could be any number of things. Have them pull the actual code it is in, not just D/E/KZM/etc. Some codes note it was built but failed a test, or it's waiting for certain parts. The dealer should be able to provide the code and explain the delay.

Below is the code list the delaer *should* be able to pull

Unscheduled:
BX = good order available for scheduling
BB = fleet order only review by bid department
BD = special equipment processing
BE = edit error - coding error which must be corrected before order can be scheduled
BG = order has passes edit but cannot be scheduled regardless of sold status

Reason Codes:
F = finance hold - automatic cancellation after 15 days
B = model or option build out
L = material restriction
M = material hold (fleet)
ZA = canceled order

Scheduled:
C = tentative schedule
D = firm schedule: serial number assigned
D1 = gateline: unit sequenced for production, est ship date assigned

Build:
E = framing
F = paint
G = trim

Built:
I = unit built, pending final inspection
J = vehicle passed final inspection but not released to carrier
JB = shipped to body vendor
JE = shipped to emissions
JJ = consigned to body vendor
JS = shipped to storage
KZ = released by plant and invoiced

Traffic Codes:
KZ L = released but not shipped
KZ M = first rail departure
KZ N = first rail arrival
KZ O = delayed/received
KZ OA = plant hold, quality audit
KZ OB = zone, dealer, sales, vehicle prep, tax, diversion or derailment hold, dealer refusal, vehicle diverted
KZ OC = carrier delay, strike-bound, emission or safety hold, rail car shortage, bad or insufficient load, inclement weather, need shipping order, manifest error
KZ OD = mechanical failure, glass damage, vehicle in repair, lacking parts or storage hold
KZ OE = misdropped or misshipped vehicle
KZ OF = shipped air freight, stolen vehicle recovered, show vehicle, test info code, vessel sailed
KZ OG = damaged vehicle, stolen vehicle, abandon to carrier, vehicle scrapped, donate vehicle, repair and auction
KZ OH = all other type carrier codes
kZ R = few days from dealed
KZ T = second rail departure
KZ U = second rail arrival
KZ X = delivered to dealer
KZ Y1 = major damage must not be sold as new
KZ Y2 = major damage vehicle sold at auction

Great info / Thanks again. Much appreciated
Anytime! My jeep just got the build sticker in last night ~1900 EST, but my dealer just emailed me noting it was "pending final inspection" so Code "I".

Either way, it's not worthing being upset when you see others being delivered with similar options. You have no idea when those were ordered, if the dealer had priority, if some small part held yours up when it was your day on the production line, etc. Just in time manufacturing and the ongoing parts shortages make deciphering any of these possible delays nearly impossible.

I know it's difficult to see others being delivered and the wait can seem like an eternity. But, just continue checking with you dealer and the trackers. Having them pull the actual code it's in for that day will be helpful to make sure there isn't an obvious fault for a delay, etc. There is nothing you or the dealer can do about it at this point though. It will get built and you'll love it once it's here!

Generally, to get an idea of what might be holding up an order, I would look at the status data on the jeep tracker page and compare numbers. For example, looking at mine today it shows on the trailer tow package that there are currently 185 orders with only 24 delivered and 13 built/shipped, 9 in production, but the other 139 (75%) are sitting in confirmed or scheduled status. This leads me to believe that there may be a part or item with the trailer tow package that may be holding things up.

You can use this on other items of your order such as the advanced safety group, showing 302 ordered, 112 (37 %) of those have been delivered, 60 (20%) built/shipped, 55 in production, and the remaining 108 (38%) in confirmed or scheduled status. Since 62% of the Advanced Safety Group Gladiators are in production or built, that tells me that the parts for the safety groups are not causing the delays at the moment.

AdamH - Do you have an estimated arrival date yet. Mine is Nov 17. I am asking because you are the only person on here that has mentioned you ordered tan leather seats in a rubicon. I ordered almost a month before you so if you get yours before me I can rule out the seats as an issue. Thx

I'll keep you updated but NO, I don't have an ETA as of today.

After Minty's post, I looked on Autotrader and damn if my ordered Gladiator isn't listed at my dealer! There was no photo though, Is that some automatic thing dealers do on expected orders?
Craig told me on Sunday, its an Autotrader thing. A key way to tell with be the Stock Number on the Autotrader listing. Dealers will assign a unique stock numbers, Autotrader will use the last 6 or 7 digits of the VON

Heres another treat or feature I discovered last night.......when you lock your JT it locks the tailgate. Or am I slow and should have known that?

Talked to my dealer this morning, he said he had actually just looked up my order a few minutes before I called. It's at KZR (near dealer) and is expected to arrive at the rail storage in San Antonio Nov 5. Cool.

Thanks for the Autotrader info. Just old and cynical enough to be nervous about the ordering process going south.

I was in that same boat this time last week.

Glad I was able to get to the bottom of the Autotrader thing
