2024 / 2025 Mojave Towing

I know this topic has been commented on ad nauseam but I was just looking at the Jeep website and you select Gladiators and you click on "Build and Price." Choose either 2024 or 2025 and when you take the model comparison option, it shows the tow capacity as 6k for the Mojaves and 7k for the Rubicons. I can't really believe this is a typo having been on the website for many months now.

Sorry if this question has been resolved and an explanation given.

Been going on longer than many months. Mojave tow cap being 1k lower than the Rubicon has been in jeep literature since the Mojave first came to pass as a late 2020 addition to the lineup

Other recent jeep literature contradicts that and says the mojave can tow 7k (for example if you click on specs for 2025 gladiator mojave on jeep.com, which is where the owner's manual directs you to look for towing specs).

However, if you use that same method to look at the 2024 Mojave specs it says 4500 (because that was the base towing of the Mojave when the automatic was still optional).

So did the website interns fuck up from 2020-2024, or did they fuck up in 2025? Well... the 2025 brochure says Mojave is 6k, so maybe the brochure interns fucked up.

Long story short: no one really knows what the fuck a 2025 Mojave can tow. But based on anecdotal towing experience of others on here, i'd say probably don't try to tow 7k with a mojave.
