2024 Gladiator No compass display in instrument cluster?

Noticed that there is no compass display in my instrument cluster. I have it set for upper left and it is checked. Tried switching it to upper right and still no display just 2 dashes. I have seen it displayed before. Seems all of a sudden its not working. Anyone else have this issue? I did see the recall on the instrument cluster and it was done.

I think it’s needs to recalibrate under certain circumstances. Back in the day ford trucks had it in the manual to do a slow figure 8 to calibrate their compass. Try just driving it around the block a time or 2 in both directions. Clockwise and counterclockwise.

Its not unheard of to just randomly lose a display/data that was there and then have it randomly return. My gas/miles remaining when I keep on my mpg display, will lose details for no reason, though Ive never had any other display disappear like the compass

I remember doing that in my Wrangler JK. There was a setup mode and you had to put in a offset factor based on a map of where you lived and then did the parking lot figure 8.

No clue what it takes now.

Your Jeep needs to be moving for the display to work. It works off changing GPS coordinates.

Even when driving it wasn't displaying anything. Today though it worked fine.
