Does anyone know if we will be able to utilize any of the new 2024 additions to the earlier models example the stereo etc.

the new infotainment requires new hvac vents and almost certainly a new dashboard insert. I'm willing to bet there's a highly convoluted path forward for anyone who wants to try.

I expect within the year someone will have a highly detailed post about how to do it, involving all their expenses and hours invested, and everyone who reads it will be slightly jealous while simultaneously having zero interest in spending that much time and money to do the same.

Head unit upgrades are not part of the Jeep plan and have no official support from Jeep. Dealers are not authorized to do head unit upgrades or activate the features. If you want it to work correctly and have official support, it has to be installed at the factory.

On a completely serious note the physical change may be very possible, it will definitely require all the visual plastic parts of the upper half of the dash to be changed, and good possibility the dash frame will be different as well. Even after you do all of that though, 99.9% positive, the electronics of the radio will not work. UConnect 5 radios, all use different connectors then UConnect 4, same with 3.

You could always go with a full dash swap using the Carobotor kit. If you are feeling so inclined to spend the money.
I don't know all the specifics regarding the install or compatibility, but it's an option.

I sat in a 2024 yesterday at the dealership to check out the new power seats. I Can say that the new screen is significantly smaller. It is wider and maybe they will take advantage of that in the future with an upgrade, but it is much shorter in height. Effectively the screen size is smaller and the picture such as the rear view or trail cam is much smaller.

Different OS - besides connectors, I wonder what else could be a bit of fun to make work with the other parts.

How were the seats?
They did not feel much different. Other than being power adjustable, I don’t think I had much adjustability than my rubicon seats. I wouldn’t swap them and that is what I was checking out

This looks great. I wonder what functionality you loose by putting this in? EG., Does your Jeep App still work for remote start, etc..?
