That's only two we KNOW OF.
Not all Jeep owners, in fact, only a small percentage, likely less than 10%, are on the internet in forums. So it's really hard to say if there were dozens or 2 or 100.
In any case, we know frames get bent because we've seen examples.

There are also videos of Mojaves flying through the air, 10' in the air and landing nicely.

So you have a dislike right off the bat and don't like Mojave and see no need for it. Apparently Jeep buyers don't agree with you because the Mojaves fly off the lots pretty fast.
So now we're making decisions off what someone thinks the number of failures might be? We don't know for sure if it only two, so we'll just assume there's a frame problem, lol? I have no hate for anything, in my opinion, putting 7k worth of shocks on a truck with solid axles and 8" of wheel travel is a marketing gimmick and waste of time. We'll see how long those axles last "Jumping 10 feet in the air" :CWL:. Every time that truck leaves the ground, you're loading and unloading those little axles(The #1 cause of tube failure) and without limit straps, topping out the shocks with the added weight of those big ass tires everyone loves. It must be exhausting being the confrontation king. ?

That sounds funny coming from you and most of your posts...looking at history.

Try to extrapolate that out - 2 reported out of a group of 49,000 members, most of them not even active, compared to the total number of Gladiators sold - it's a safe bet that more than 2 bent. That's all I'm saying.

These were designed for desert running.
You don't have to leave the ground to bend a frame or do other damage.
There's a few videos and reviews from the Middle East out there of the abuse they can take - again, don't have to totally leave the ground and top out shocks.
Maybe you've never built a puddle jumper and gone through pastures and fields jouncing around, coming down hard on the bump stops.


I guess you are missing too many points to bother with further.

I'd go with the Mojave in your scenario, or a Rubicon if you are into rock crawling at all. The Willy's is a fantastic base to build off of, but if you are happy with leaving your Jeep stock with a Mojave, I think that's the better route to take.

2024 Willy's has locking rear and 4.10s I believe. 12k is buying you shocks that you could buy for 1200 bucks on the marketplace, 1k dollar iron knuckles, cool steel hood, and some frame welds. If that sounds worth 12k go for it, but the 2024 Willy's package is really a major sweet spot in the jl/JT lineup of unmatched price to performance.

I'd have to look at the order guide PDF to verify - as usual if you are correct, the build and price site is very wrong. And that would be no surprise at all.

I agree they've made the Willys the sweet spot. It's the bang for the buck level for those who don't require some of the features you can only get with the X versions - and don't want to pay the many thousands more

If Willys had the 4.10 and/or option for wider axles it would be much more in favor of the Willy’s. It has neither of those though.

Fair enough, I checked as well and sure enough its not 4.10's, 2.5K buys you 5.13's but not the wider axles. I still think the willy's is the sweet spot which unless you need something from the X packages is where the smart buy lives. It really just eats the lunch of the plain mojave and rubicon packages and makes it the no brainer starting point, especially since in the JT we all get the thick tubes wide or narrow unlike the JL's who have wimpier tubes in the narrow axles.

I guess for me i look at it as i can start with a willys and end up with a rubijave minus wide axles for 6-7K. Thats adding a front locker and regearing, fox 2.5 fully adjustable shocks, hydro bumps, and disconnecting swaybar. How much is wide axles and cool hood worth *shrug*.
