As of 2021 all JT have the 'Halo wire' in the harness... as far as I know. 2020 had to run it. BCM programming should turn it on.

Perfect. I’ll return if not needed. This is an awfully expensive upgrade. On my way home from the same dealership day 2 on the turnpike, some crazy debris hit my windshield so safelite coming today to replace that. I will reach back out on Sunday when I go to attempt Jscan. Thanks for the help

Definitely expensive. I paid 1k for new LED headlights.... I recall 250 used DRLs... then I spend a lot of time understanding the programming

JSCAN is kind of dumb because it does changes in batches. AlfaOBD....while a steeper learning curve...allows bit by bit changes.

OUCH!! That is a big chip in your windshield. I went the cheap route on my Nighthawk putting in LED bulbs all around, and used Jscan to change to LED settings, with no issues.

Yea I bought a 2024 Sport S that for some reason was spec out with all LED’s inside and out, except the headlights and front running and turn signals and fog lights. So I have been putting up with the low full amber light output. Normally I would just replace with LED, but have heard all kinds of crazy stories, plus the legality aspect. So I recently swapped out the exact replacement headlight bulbs with Sylvania Silver Star Ultra, that’s made an improvement, but nothing like the MORIMOTO LED’s did in my last truck, a Colorado WT.

Anything other than a proper swap out that includes the reflectors, housings and so on is second best. I know people will swear up and down it's just as good or the same and so on - yeah, to do otherwise is to admit a mistake, so of course. Also the human eye can't detect the differences "looks good to me so it's just as good" is a huge LOL
Bulbs are for those who don't understand and know any better - China loves those guys.
