2025 X with the Mojave wheel:What "thumb pads" are you talking about? The 2024 has the same wheel but with orange. The 2025 is the same, but without orange. And it's that way on every single 2025 I looked at. It's not like they "ran out" - it's on every single one on a dealer lot.
Why would I want that?This:

isn't this:

Feel, grip, control. It's also supposed to be on the vehicle. Since some 2025's have it and now they don't, they ran out.Why would I want that?
I don't care for the look of that wheel.2025 X with the Mojave wheel:

Granted if you're happy that's all that matters, but I bet you'd like the feel of the Mojave wheel better. Color the orange stitching with black sharpie.
And you are sure it's not a running change - as opposed to "ran out"?Feel, grip, control. It's also supposed to be on the vehicle. Since some 2025's have it and now they don't, they ran out.
2020 - 2024 and many 2025s have the Mojave wheel - it's a feature of the model. Only reason to change I can think of is supplier doesn't have any.And you are sure it's not a running change - as opposed to "ran out"?
Control? Like you can't control it with a standard shape wheel. LOL. I've been controlling cars and trucks with smaller wheels than that, and my JT at over 90 with no problem.Feel, grip, control.
Plenty of guys want the Mojave wheel - trade it if you have and don't want it!Control? Like you can't control it with a standard shape wheel. LOL. I've been controlling cars and trucks with smaller wheels than that, and my JT at over 90 with no problem.
That fat part is exactly where my hands would be much of the time, naw, I didn't buy it to get a unique steering wheel.
I'll have to look again, I didn't take pictures of the steering wheel in mine - but I'd happily trade wheels if mine has that orange fat one.
I wouldn't put "control" in there - it's a design issue to separate it from the rest, make it look important.Up-trim models always have "weird" steering wheels for grip and control, Mojave is a "desert runner". Hell, look at the C8 ZR-1, there's a reason the wheel is like this:
